Very good value for money and food was delicious. Server wasn't very friendly and was maybe a bit new to the restaurant? I'd never beed there before and would go again, maybe when it's a bit quieter and if we had a change of server

We went o a Saturday lunchtime and they were busy. The food was well cooked and delicious. There is a good selection of wines and the Loire Muscadet was just perfect. Our waiter was smiley and friendly. Overall very good value for money.

We were served by many different waiters. My plate was cleared away before my Mum had finished eating and the waiter tried to take her plate as well. The food was good but not amazing. Would not go again.

Great food but pre-theatre expirrince was poor. Felt rushed, waiters/waitresses rushing around and lots of noise from the open kitchen area. With tables so close together spraying and wiping tables right next to you whilst you’re eating is not a pleasant experience. It seemed very much like speed dining whilst they get through pre-theatre ‘rush’ - which admittedly is a good value menu, whilst they get ready for the a la Carter diners later. Cheaper menu shouldn’t mean a cheaper type of experience. No personal service and nobody checked if our meal was ok. Too much haste occurring.

As the restaurant has recently changed hands and the chef has left,we were a little apprehensive .However the same quality and service and value have been maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Went with two friends as belated 59th wedding anniversary treat as as they had never eaten there before. This restaurant has taken over from Bistro Pierre as our preferred dining experience in Nottingham especially since they started opening on a Sunday. The wood pigeon starter was tender and moist and each of the Sunday roasts were tried and all were cooked to perfection with super Yorkshire puddings and ample mixed vegetables. Our friends will definitely be dining there again as, of course, shall we. On previous visits we have tasted fish dishes that have been excellent too.

Nice food and atmosphere- would definitely go there again. A bit of a mix up meant that two of our party didn’t get served with the rest which spoilt it a little.
