Didnt like being rushed to finish - told the day before we needed to leave by 1.45 - less than 2 hours - unreasonable - then asked to leave at 1.15 before we had deserts!!!!!Not good! And VERYnoisy

I like the new layout and decor. Very good food and service but very noisy (and, yes, it was incredibly busy just before Christmas) but the acoustics are not at all good and make hearing one's table companions extremely difficult.

Staff coped remained friendly and coped well with being so busy with Christmas parties.

Although a very busy time of year we were seated on time, the staff were most pleasant and calm, did not rush us from our table and of course delivered exceptional food and drink. Thank you.

We enjoyed our Christmas lunch and understand that the restaurant was busy, but we had to wait ages and ask twice to get butter for our bread and asked about 5 times for water that finally came at the end of our sweet course. We will return as we really enjoy our Christmas lunch treat. We would have ordered coffee but no one came near to ask so we did without.

We went for Christmassy dinner date.Restaurant was busy so in my opinion is great sighn.Staff very friendly and smiling. It was my second visit been before for my birthday. Enjoyed.will be back.

The food and service was excellent as usual. However the ambiance was spoiled by a work's Xmas party. They were very loud and did a sort of award ceremony which went on for ages. More fitting for Wetherdpoons! I'm afraid it spoiled our visit as they were totally inconsiderate of the other diners.

Food fabulous (as usual). However unimpressed when charged for dessert on top of fixed price 2 course meal. Pleased to say the bill was adjusted before we left. Furthermore not impressed when ordered 2 flat white coffees, 1 was fine the other was only half a measure. When I queried this I was told that as I had ordered a half strength coffee and that is what I got!.

The Food was fantastic and service was good and friendly staff.

A great atmosphere and the food is exceptionally good, and also value for money. The staff are very customer focussed and cannot do enough for you. I have been to this restaurant on many occasions and will continue to do so.

We used to visit this restaurant often but felt it was going a bit downhill, so started visiting other places. After quite a few years came back to another overall poor experience. I doubt I would go again

been using for over 15 years and this was our worst experience. Ordered quickly then waited 40 minutes for starter. Main course my steak was tough and chewy. Complained and was reimbursed. Hopefully next time will be back to its excellent reputation. This was probably a one off blip.

My husband & I have dined here very many times, but there appears to have been a decline in food quality and attentiveness. The food was ok, and it is fair value. My husband ordered the Turkey Breast and was disappointed to have been given perfect circular slices, instead of 'real' hand carved turkey breast. The worst part was being overcharged by £ 10.90, as they charged us for 3 courses, then added the Desserts again at the bottom of the Bill. I wonder how many other people were 'accidentally' overcharged? We will not be dining there again.

Pre concert visit - we all had Sunday lunch, with delicious pudding to follow. Good service considering the restaurant was very busy. Excellent value 😀

I found restaurant was too noisy, mainly caused by the staff and rathet than having a relaxed lunch, we felt that we were rushed because our table was needed for another booking. I thought the standard of the food was below average.

Myself,wife and adult son,had a most enjoyable lunch. The food was excellent and good value. All the staff were very pleasant. NO COMPLAINTS WHATSOEVER.

Brilliant food with generous portions of meat topped off with great staff. Particularly liked that they seemed to have a dedicated drinks waiter so you don't end up with an empty glass when food is served.

A quiet Tuesay night so I thought that things might have been less slow but the staff were individually courteous, friendly and efficient andwe enjoyed the night. As a general point of information foryou, the menu(s) could be made more explicit so that one would know that, for instance, vegetables were not included in a main course.
