Thai food is always a popular choice, and the delicate balance of flavours needed to make it work are often difficult to get right. There are 4 key elements to the cuisine: salt, derived from fish sauce; spice, found in chillies; sour, derived from citrus and tamarind, and sweet, taken from palm sugar. Get these right, and you have that unique taste that is associated with Thailand. Throw in some fresh ingredients, and you’re onto a winner. At Phanthong Thai on Alderley Road in Wilmslow, they offer up some of the best examples of the genre in Manchester, with an extensive menu that takes in curries, stir-fries, seafood dishes and much, much more, served with the characteristically crunchy and fresh vegetables that one would expect from the best South East Asian restaurants. Book your table now and discover them for yourself.
Everything was great. The quality of the food was very good indeed. The food was all very fresh and tasty. We will be back again.
As a special treat from my wife, we decided to visit the Phanthong Thai for an evening meal. It was quite busy so the atmosphere was excellent. We visit this restaurant a lot because the food is so good and the service brilliant. Everything was, as usual, perfect. I can recommend a visit, you won’t be disappointed.
Eagerly looked forward to this return visit, once again a lovely welcome, great food at a reasonable price & great service, will be returning soon
