Service is too slow, even when the restaurant was empty. The food is okay nothing strikes out that is worth paying the extra £££

I’ve paid around £74 for a shared mixed grill and 3 fruit drinks for two people! I feel that the prices a bit high compared to other restaurants in Ealing area! Also the food was very dry, they don’t serve any sauces with the meal!!

Having made booking at 6:30pm highlighted it’s special occasion we arrived on time. Entering in empty Piano no waiter came to see us to be seated. Standing for 3 min finally they realised we were there. Table offered and we sat down. Minute later we were moved as apparently same table was booked. Moved to other table with draft of cold air sweeping in, and food on the table from night before. Oh yes, min again and we were moved to another table by the toilets. Having sat there every so often in pleasant smell was sweeping across our table from filthy toilets opposite. Service “diabolical” waiters taking their food and eating resulted in first dish and drink to be served 20 min after order, mains 30 min and desert 45 min. We were never asked if more drinks is needed nor did we see any of the staff to ask? Busy eating in the closed room next to us. £100.00 for set menu just being damped on our table with bottle of wine consisted of ball of rice. Unbelievable experience in my life the worse place I have ever been. The Ivy, Wentworth Gold centre is cheaper, service unbelievably good, decor fantastic but my experience spiked birthday occasion and made me so angry. Could not wait to get out of Piano. My rating is below 0 (zero)
