Pickled Fred

Turned up at the time we had booked the table for, and the restaurant was closed. Wasted half my day in London! Was absolutely fuming!

The welcome was very nice, and the cocktails were excellent. We ordered food to share with a group of 3 people. Only note, the second dish (out of seven) served, was octopus, but it was very very spicy, making it almost difficult to taste the next dishes followed. Maybe I would served a bit later if possible. Also, the soy marinated fruit bun was extremely salty. Too much of soy. Could not taste anything else, really :S But other than those two little concerns, our experience was very good. The service was 100/100, and we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect cosy place for Brunch on a rainy day. I tried their Jackfruit Scotch Egg and Chermoula Aubergine, both dishes well delivered and feel fresh. Will go backto try the Halloumi fries and the Benedict Flatbread.

Wonderful experience and great food. Will definitely visit again. Kids enjoyed their cocktails. The jackfruit dishes were amazing so was the flat breads. The service was good too.

A unique out of the ordinary place, an array of interesting and tasty food. Lovely calm atmosphere, nice displays and warm,friendly helpful staff. Would definitely go again.

Pickled Fred has become a must-visit restaurant for us when we are in London. The staff is friendly and helpful, the cocktails are creative and scrumptious, and the food is wonderful! The Smoked Goat cocktail is our favorite as we like both tequila and mezcal and they combine them with fruit juice to accomplish something special. The lotus root chips as a starter can't be beat and we *always* have the octopus - it's cooked perfectly and spiced to perfection. (We now get two plates of this so we don't have to share!) New on the menu for us this time were the duck breast with pickled plum puree and a new flatbread with lamb kofte. Having learn our limits the last time we were here, we only had the duck and it is a worthy addition to the menu - cooked just right, it is very tasty and the tart pickled plum puree brings out the flavor of the duck in engaging ways. If you are in London, Pickle Fred is the place to eat!

Very nice food, providing something different to the norm. Would definitely go back and make use of the 6 cocktails before 7pm! Great service too.

Food was amazing , service spot on and very informative and friendly , lovely relaxed atmosphere , new fav restaurant , cocktails beautiful , will be coming back on our next visit to London

This is my third time here . Very knowledgeable waiter, who helped us with a few questions on the ingredients in the meals. I think I liked all the plates apart from one (and that was more because I wasn't too fond of one of the vegetables, rather than it being a poor offering). Fairly expensive, but you get a premium experience. Would recommend.

Absolutely delicious food and stunning cocktails. Loved the decor. Friendly staff...Can’t fault it. A real little gem so can I keep it to myself please?!

The food has been delightful. The tastes were unusual. The twist in coktails were amazing And the people working there make your dinner even Nicer. I ll definitely come back

Incredibly friendly staff, delicious food! I totally recommend it. We went for brunch, where we ordered two snack dishes (avocado tempura, and halloumi fries), and the main Fred's flat bread. The cocktails are lovely as well.

Outstanding food and drinks at Pickled Fred! We had the jackfruit scotch egg, the wings, and the banh mi flatbread; everything was absolutely delicious. They also have amazing and unique cocktails, and the pricing for everything isn’t outrageous. We’d definitely recommend this place!

Went last night to Pickled Fred and everything was excellent! Superb food and service. We ordered several dishes to share and each dish was fantastic. Pickled Fred is now one of my favourite restaurants in London. They really have all the details right - great music, wine was perfectly chilled, innovative and delicious dishes and friendly service. Highly recommended. In fact a must visit restaurant in a cool part of London.

Always great food and great service. Caters to all dietary needs and each dish has a kick. Yummy! I have taken my friends, family and fellow Aussies there and so far it has been loved by all. Great job guys, need to try a brunch soon to see if the coffee is as good as the cocktails 🍹

Great Friday evening at Pickled Fred. Great service, the food and cocktails were really delicious and everything was reasonably priced - particularly as we were there during Happy Hour so cocktails were only £5 each! Amazing value. Would recommend and visit again soon.

So easy to book last minute and get a table for our specified time. We got to the restaurant and were greeted by lovely staff members. The food is amazing, the vegan menu is very varied and all of the dishes we tried were so tasty. We loved the pickled veg starter. Prices were really reasonable and we had a really lovely evening.

Delicious food. Loved the different bao’s, pork belly probably the favourite. Hallumi fries, lotus crisps and chicken wings to start was a winner. We also had the lamb flatbread and deep fried avocado which was yummy. The scallops was probably the least favourite thing out of our whole meal as it was a little bland compared to all the other flavours. Great service, very friendly but not overbearing. Will be back soon!

Great dinner, drinks and food are good, spicy and tasty! Staff kind and competent. Beautiful the atmosphere. I will recommend this place to my mates, sure!

Delicious food, varied menu, lovely vibe. There is literally someone for everyone on the menu (vegan, gluten free etc.)! I am a regular Customer and cannot recommend this place enough!

Great atmosphere, amazing deals on cocktails and delicious intriguing food

Great food tasty, soft,fresh and excellent service, good value for money. Alcohol a bit too expensive but they offered us a limoncello liquor which in away compensated. Music slightly too loud, you have to raise your voice when talking which we didn't like but asked to turn it down a bit and they did, though it was still too loud.

Fantastic dining experience, all dishes bursting with flavour. Very Friendly staff, who couldn’t do enough to help.if you want something a little bit different I Would highly recommend trying pickled Fred

Excellent brunch spot for something a little different! Try the halloumi fries and jackfruit scotch egg. They also do a very good fresh watermelon juice.

A great place! We caught the end of £5 cocktails in happy hour and stayed for dinner. We shared two plates and a flat bread between two, which was about right to save a bit of space for dessert. The satay flat bread was amazing and the tempura avocado was also delicious. Staff were lovely too! Given the quality of the food and drink it is really reasonable and loads of options for veggies and vegans as well as omnivores.

Very enjoyable evening with friends. One of friends is a vegan, so plenty of choice and the waiters were extremely helpful and knowledgable of the menu. Thoroughly recommend. Great cocktails too!

Staff and food was amazing. I have stomach issue and therefore have to be very fussy with what I eat and nothing was too much for them. Even managed to have a cocktail - blended fresh watermelon and (corn) vodka. Very relaxed environment. Although there was clearly a small party going on at the back of the restaurant it was still very chilled and intimate ambience. My only gripe as a fussy vegan was the limited desserts options but to be honest I was satisfied with my main. Thank you Pickeled Fred.

The food lovely, The waiters were really friendly , the music was TOO LOUD !!!! When you meet friends for dinner you want to talk.

The food at the restaurant wasn’t great. Very salted and very strong flavours but not all pleasant. The prawns were good, the octopus wasn’t amazing
