I really enjoyed my mussels & hake special but my husbands soup & steak was nothing too special - hence 5 and not a 6
Good service, nice little restaurant. One of the best meals we’ve ever had. We had the chateau briande. Great quality and good value for money.
Food was amazing again and the service brilliant! Would highly recommend!! Staff were very friendly and attentive, food tasted so fresh and a great selection on the menu!
Lovely Sunday lunch with friends. Good choice and service. First visit but will go back. Recommend the Sweet plate - surprising quality and portion selection.
Was recommended to go to this restaurant for dinner. Well worth a visit. Service and food was excellent. Menu not huge but supplemented with special dishes posted on the blackboard. Would definitely go back.
THIS WAS OUR FIRST VISIT. EXCELLENT MEAL AND SERVICE. WE WERE GREETED BY A GLASS OF PROSECCO AS IT WAS OUR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY WHICH WAS A VERY NICE TOUCH. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Second time at this restaurant. Lovely atmosphere, food and service. Would travel back to Perth just to dine here!
We had a brilliant meal the food and service were second to none. I would recommend pig Halle to anyone . First class will definitely to again
Took my wife there for her birthday last Saturday. The service was good the food excellent and the price reasonable. We will definitely be back.
As on many previous visits, this favourite and well-priced Perth restaurant came up trumps. Its authentically French menu, the extremely good value it offers, its central location and the friendliness and efficiency of its staff have always guaranteed our return.
Lovely atmosphere, l’m a fussy eater and it’s a limited menu but I found something I could eat. Service was ok. A good overall experience.
Staff were friendly & helpful. Lots of great choices on the menu and the food was delicious. Great value for money & we will certainly be back!
Fantastic meal and service fabulous. Highly recommend and cannot wait for our next visit. From moment you walk in to you leave felt very welcoming and attentive
A thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. Incredible food, excellent service and a great atmosphere.
Good service and excellent food. Attractive decor , very cosy. Reasonable prices. Had the set lunch menu and found plenty of choice. The wine was very reasonable for a restaurant too.
Lunch at PigHalle never disappoints, delicious food and excellent service. We had Mussels, whitebait for starters, pork belly and chicken for main course which was beyond beautiful, presentation amazing. Thank you! 💗
Amazing food, excellent atmosphere, fabulous staff, superb wine, great value and exquisite ingredients . Could not have asked for anymore on our visit to the restaurant.
Food was excellent, plentiful and tasty. Staff looked after us being very efficient and attentive. Had a lovely relaxing lunch at a good price. Would recommend.
Proper food, served by excellent staff. Wish the restaurants in France were this good. Iberico pork is especially good. Took parents for a late mother's Day treat and they loved it.
A wonderful and relaxed meal, a surprise treat for Mothering Sunday. Complimentary glass of prosecco and leaving treat of macaroons were very welcome touches. Excellent menu with real French cuisine, attentive but not overpowering service from the staff. We all managed 3 courses and the quantities were just right, one felt happily satisfied without feeling stuffed. Food well cooked, arrived on hot plates (bonus!), well presented and delicious. What more could one ask except to return again and again.
We really enjoyed our meal at the pighalle. We received very good service from the waiter who was attentive although he was busy as the restaurant was full. The food was wonderful, very tasty and well presented.
Perfectly nice evening in Pig Halle. Steaks came a tad overdone and the gratin were quite small but the service was very good and it's a lovely atmosphere.
Excellent food and service as always. Always a favourite. Would highly recommend. We visited for Mother’s Day with family and it was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
Great choice, wonderful food and top class service. I have been a few times with my daughters and we just love going there. Very good value and if I lived in Perth would visit a lot more.
Pig'Halle is a cosy, friendly French restaurant in Perth, Scotland. The décor gives the ambience of being in an inner city Paris eatery whilst the friendly staff make customers feel at home and very welcome. The menu is varied and reasonably priced and the food is beautifully served and tastes exquisite. I would not hesitate to recommend Pig'Halle to anyone. An absolute treasure of a restaurant and the ultimate dining experience!
Though we loved the baguette and the tapnade as an amuse, other dishes were not surprisingly good. However the staff were very friendly and supportive.
First visit and meat eaters very pleased quality as was the staff was excellent. Bit disappointed with my salad as lacking taste but it was fine. Veggie/vegan options limited but this is the normal in restaurants and I am sure if I had asked for something they would have accommodated. With the quality and choice they offer would be good for something different for vegetarians rather than pizza/pasta.
Love Pig Halle in Perth! Been several times for lunch for birthdays and days when we needed cheering up. Food is deliciously varied and French, as are the very friendly helpful staff. Great wine list - we had the Malbec Mont Rocher - soft and plumlicious. Our lunch included fresh homemade bread with two dips - one with chickpeas and garlic and the other tapenade as we poured over the menu. Followed by eggs en cocotte with black pudding and fragrant French Onion soup for starters; meltingly moreish Boeuf Bourguognon with creamy mash and a side of crisp fresh vegetables to follow. Puddings were offered and looked delicious, but were reluctantly refused (as we were too full) and we finished with excellent coffee and more Malbec. Another long, leisurely, contented lunch in Pig Halle - the perfect way to spend a Sunday!
The Lunch menu was suitably varied, the food was excellent, and the service was very friendly. I will have no hesitation in returning as a first choice.
Good food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended, certainly for a Valentines Day meal, but would recommend for any type of occasion. Nice place!
We took some friends along to the Pig'Halle for lunch today and they were most impressed. The service was excellent and the menu very tempting. Those of us who had the Pork Shank Special were particularly pleased with our choice. For deserts we had the "four little surprise delights" with coffee - and we were delighted with what had been arranged onto the slates which were placed before us. All in all a great meal - we will certainly recommend it to other friends which I am sure will make us very popular...
Food fantastic! Helpful staff with useful recommendations about sauces and wines, and also information about how an unusual ingredient might be cooked. eg flat iron steak, and Iberico pig shoulder. The restaurant was very cosy and had a lovely flavour of France. We didn't have to wait long between courses and the prices were very reasonable given the quality of the food. Will certainly go back and would recommend Pig' Halle to anyone who likes good food cooked in a traditional French fashion.
Lovely as always. Menu slightly different from last time we visited. Starters, mains and dessert all delicious and wine reasonably priced and good quality. Service excellent.
Had an excellent lunch with friends! The service was friendly and attentive. Everyone really enjoyed the quality food and the wine list was extensive with a broad price range.
Another great lunch. A Valentines Lunch was our preference to Dinner (to avoid the swooning couples). It is always a pleasure to eat here and enjoy the combination of flavours.
We had a lovely meal - chosen from the Valentine set menu. The cosy ambience of the restaurant was most welcome on what was a very cold night The service was also very good. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable evening
Another excellent, tastebud tantalising, lunch. Hand Dived West Coast King Scallops & Black Pudding Assiette de Charcuterie La Bouillabaisse Ribeye Steak Le Plateau de Fromages Francaise All complemented with a nice house Malbec. A chance meeting with an old friend developed into a very enjoyable extended lunch. Nothing was too much trouble.
Great ambience. Food flavours very good. Unfortunately our starters were very over cooked, scallop and a pigeon breast. Bouillabaisse not the best I've had but ok, I felt that TWO mussels was if anything either a waste of time or stingy! Our other main course, the assiette Pig Halle was excellent. Dessert of chocolat moeleuxand salted caramel ice cream and café gourmand were both first class. £69 good value for money. Just a real shame about severely over cooked starters. Will return.
Really tasty food and relaxed atmosphere. The wood pigeon breast served on haggis was amazing, as was the French onion soup which I had as they’d run out of scallops. Ribeye steak was yummy and hubby’s bouillabaisse was a modern twist. Totally recommended.
Great food, served with a smile in lovely surroundings at a good price!
