The service wasn't as good as it used to be and the food was small for my child and very limited pudding choice. I had to collect my own cutlery and there were no clean knives. very disappointed with this visit and i wont be rushing back

Some people of my group liked all the food and some others didn't, but all in all it was a great experience!!! The staff was lovely and they gave us a table by the window in a very cosy corner. And they even let us charge one of the phones there! A friend who lives in Stokesley had recommended the place and it was a great choice indeed!!!

Had lovely meal , many times we have visited this pub . Always get a warm welcome . Great service . Large portions shared the Burritos this time with nice glass of Shiraz . Lovely pudding , biscoff cheesecake with jug of cream . Perfect . Thanks again x

Excellent food at our favourite place . Had the burritos & the Thai curry both gorgeous . Large portions . Pudding was toblerone cookie dough with ice cream was heaven . Highly recommend this place , everything spot on & great service . Can’t wait to go back again !

Lovely chilled afternoon in Plonkers . Had the cheese platter which was gorgeous fully loaded with an assortment of different cheeses with a Nice bottle of shiraz. More than enough for 2 ! Lovely pudding & coffees too . Staff are so friendly & offer great service , we love this place & highly recommend it .

Lovely food, allthough I didn't realise that the lunch menu started at 1pm. We wanted a kebab each. Not to worry, I will know for our next visit.

Very busy but staff still had time for everyone. Sunday lunch was lovely (huge portion) Owner rushing round but still had time to tell us a bit of history on the place. We would definitely return if we were in York again.

Plonkers is an all round package excellent food, lovely surroundings and the staff are always pleasant.

Fab night went to eat before show then returned great food fantastic atmosphere singing and dancing 2 guys working (sorry didn't get your names) played all our requests to night thank you
