Polka Kitchen

The food was delicious, offering traditional Polish cuisine, combined with a modern and tasteful setting, decent alcohol-free wine, and friendly service. We had the herring salad, mushroom soup, and pork escalope. Our favourite desert - poppy seed roulade - was sadly unavailable!

This was our first visit to this restaurant, a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff who encouraged my partner to speak Polish as he is learning the language. A nice twist on some of the classic Polish classic dishes.

Polka in Ealing doesn’t try to be cool. And that’s exactly why it is. Let’s start with portions. These are not London portions. These are Eastern European grandmother portions. The kind that communicate love through density. Plates arrive looking like they’re preparing for winter. Pierogi stacked like ammunition. Schnitzel spanning the plate like a small duvet. You don’t leave hungry. You don’t leave “pleasantly satisfied.” You leave recalibrated. The food is unapologetically traditional. No fusion. No reinterpretation. Such excellent 5-star service. Every waitress was attentive, providing excellent customer service by being observant, responsive, and proactive. Additionally, the meals were mouth-watering and the cake dessert melted in the mouth. Thank you ever so much, and I look forward to Polka Kitchen again!

Good service, good set price lunch and all food served was delicious. Soups are always good as was my main of pork ball, mash and red cabbage. And of course had to have one of the delicious cakes.

Wonderful warm welcome and thoughtful change of table realising my husband's hearing difficulties. A rich and varied menu with such a good range of dishes - some classic some more seasonal. Our choices were all delicious, generous and beautifully presented. This is a treasure of a restaurant and we are so lucky to have it on our doorstep in Ealing. A real treat of an evening - thank you!
