I had lived in Poland for 2 years and was craving Polish food. Unfortunately, this was not for me. The pierogi dough was too thick, pork filling was dry. Cheese and potato filling was good. So a hit or a miss kinda place.

Good quality Polish food in a European salon environment served by competent and friendly waitresses. Added bonus is the pastry shoo making local desserts.

My wife and I had Polish parents (post-WW2 refugees) and therefore we speak some Polish. It was great chatting with staff about our common history who found time even though they were very busy. Our English guests also enjoyed Polish fare and said they would travel down from Harefield again to eat at Polka Kitchen. We travelled down from near Cambridge to spend a nostalgic weekend in Ealing.

The service was very slow and unattentive. The food was good with pierogi being the hit. It felt a little crowded seating wise and there is a problem with little flies that seemed to be everywhere!

What a wonderful find, booked after looking for a Polish restaurant and how lucky to find such a gem. The food was awesome and the added bonus of cakes (reasonably priced) from the patisserie to take home and have with a cup of tea! loved it. One of my favourite restaurants.
