We had a very bad experience at Polpo. The service was all over the place with broken glasses, entire bottle of wine in the floor and one of our party. The noise in the restaurant meant we had to shout to be heard by someone sitting opposite me.

Fantastic food and service. Will definitely be back during my next visit to Brighton. Easily accommodated our family (including 2 children) and friends for a Friday night dinner that was enjoyed by all.

Just ok ordered a starter of bread with beans and ricotta just tasted of horseradish which no mention of on the menu and not something i eat friends ended up eating .Many course a beef ragu no different than i would make myself paid £8.50 for a martini comes in a sherry type glass First and last visit

Interesting selection of Italian tapas-type dishes. A little heavy on ragu at times but overall an enjoyable evening. The pizzette and the chocolate and grappa cake were especially good. Friendly, helpful and efficient service.

Amazing service and the food was great! Our server was fantastic. The only thing to note is you have to spend a lot to get enough food. Worth it if you don’t mind splashing out now and again

There’s was a very large party of 30 or more in there at the same time so it was very noisy which unabled my friend and I to have a conversation

£7 for two small pieces of Brushetta. £10 for a small bowl of linguine and crab broth ( no actual crab meat) £8.50 for a small cocktail! It was just overpriced without the quality you would expect from this

My favourite restaurant in Brighton, consistently great food and wonderful service.

Third visit with a guest and my dog. Some food not up to usual standard though fortunately my guest's food was good. My dog had a fantastic time!
