Lovely little tapas place in the heart of the Kings Road. Good service, good Covid measures and food was really nice and tasty.

Tate outside and Polpo has social distanced the tables beautifully. Large umbrellas shade you. Frito Misto fantastic as usual. Love Polpo.

The food was delicious but my friend had some credit cards stollen from his wallet - the guy at the next table had taken them! This guy was wearing a mask while he sat drinking water so no one could recognise him so every one watch out. Unfortunately the staff didn’t really care and after waiting 10mins for the manager who never arrived and someone to look at CCTV we left .

the new menu is very reduced, the food wasn´t great and portions were even smaller than before, I used to love Polpo but with this new menu I will not come back, is not worth the money they are charging for VERY small plates. I am Very disappointed with Polpo, I used to go very often

So friendly, cheerful and Venetian. We booked to be sure of getting a pre theatre table. 2 Bellini, 1 bottle of house white, the obligatory zucchini frutti, pork and fennel meatballs for me, lamb chops for my friends£32 each with service. Not cheap but worth it because everything was spot on A great deal better than the play which neither of us understood.

Nice location, romantic and cosy ambience. Stuffed fried olives, arancini and small pizzas are very tasty. Was confused with courgette fritties serving, as it doesn’t come with any sauce, asked if it is possible to get one. We were offered mayo or ketchup, decided to choose first option. Mayo was squeezed in a small plate and was smeared on the edges, didn’t look pleasant at all. It would be amazing if more sauce options could be added into menu and serving would be improved too.

We booked last minute a table for their first service on a sunday at 12am. The waitress was lovely and super efficient. The food was as lovely as in my souvenirs, we order a couple of small plates to shares, special mention to the potatoe gnocchi sausage ragù that was our favorite, so tasty! if we wanted we had the table for 2h which is plenty of time if you want to chill, but we wanted a quick lunch as we wanted to do some shopping in the Duke Square (yes the localisation of the restaurant expose you to many temptations)

Difficult to find the entrance ! I twice walked around & though I could see the lights were on, It appeared the green door was closed. My guest did the same. We both, but separately, directed back to the green door by the hairdresser next door. As we exited, a potential customer asked us how she could get in to meet her friends. Perhaps you need a sign on the door as when I mentioned this to staff I was told " we rely on the plant to indicate the entrance"

Would have liked to have finished our negronis before the food arrived.

Very nice restaurant with friendly efficient service. The noise level was very high but we had a man next to us with an exceptionally loud voice.

We had a great visit with delicious food and great service.

Booked a table for 7:30pm but we were able to arrive early. The lady that dealt with us was very accommodating and we managed to get sat down 45 minutes early. Food and service was good overall but I have to say that we felt a bit neglected in terms of the service through dinner. We would have happily ordered a couple more rounds of drinks for our table of 6 but it seemed as though we were always asking for service rather than it being offered up. Not enough to spoil the visit but a bit annoying.

Table ready on arrival - good service just needs maybe some English translation on some of the items if, as we were, not overly knowledgeable on some of the items on offer

A very pleasant experience of authentic Italian food and drinks

We arrived early and it was really busy but they still accomodated. Made space at the front desk so we could drink our wine as the bar was full. We managed to get a table 15 mts before our scheduled time and were looked after really well the entire time. (it was a very busy Sat evening). The food was amazing...especially the Lamb shanks, the spicy octopus and the Tiramisu! Will definitely be going back.

So pleased to have found this place. I'll be doing some work at a theatre nearby, so this will be great. Lovely, cosy place. Staff were very warm and welcoming. A few tiny glitches, with misplaced orders, and a bill! Didn't matter - because by then we loved it. Lamb chops with anchovy butter: decadent. Meatballs - perfect [when my husband hung onto the last scrapings of tomato sauce, he was offered more. Nice] A good wine list. And grappa. Wonder if the theatre could generate any more writing work for me.......? ;)
