Lovely food. Very good value. Good atmosphere. So, why do they play loud music, through a cheap sound system with the bass turned up too high that makes conversation impossible?

It was a lovely catch up with two other girlfriends and mostly the staff saw us when we needed something, they weren't hugely busy as it was the half term lull, however, the menu had updated and food was delicious, service was perfect when it happened so all good.

Relaxed but effective service. Great food. We sat outside and the umbrella heaters were on and blankets were already on the chairs in case needed. It was chilly and wish I’d brought a sweater or jilet. But an enjoyable meal experience

Good food with reasonable price. Service was good but the music from the speaker was slightly noisy.

Absolutely fantastic food, the waiting service was quite slow, I think because they were busy but everyone was very friendly. The food service was fast and the food incredible, so delicious - we will definitely be back!

Nice afternoon but unfortunately have to mention the toilets.....Could do with some TLC.. Appreciate some of it is down to bad customers - some need to be toilet trained!! but they were a bit wiffey which is more to do with maintenance..🥴.Otherwise lovely time

Good food - music a tad loud over trying to converse

The food was amazing, however there were far too many tables squished together so it meant that I was nearly touching elbows with the person to my left and right. Take away a table and it would make the experience a lot more enjoyable.

Great food, however limited wine menu. We were sat very closely to other tables so had limited room for ourselves.

Staff were very pleasant. The food simple but enjoyable. We had a very nice evening.

I love the food. It is cooked well and consistent. Nice outdoor seating area and friendly staff.

Nice food, cocktails weren’t that good. Waiters were sweet, cute and polite, but all new and amateurs. Would go back but not if you are in a hurry

The music was too loud, and unfortunately with the beautiful architecture, it makes the noise bounce significantly. Also, with the tables being so close together, my friend and I had a hard time focusing on our own conversation. I love Polpo, so the noise never puts me off visiting, but as an interior designer of hotels, I'm probably more critical of the acoustics of a space.

The service was incredibly slow and our food came out at different times. They got quite a few of our orders wrong too
