Great atmosphere and great food. It’s always enjoyable sharing dishes. The staff could t have been more kind and helpful especially when I changed my mind about where I had asked to be seated. They really understood I wanted to move and made it happen. Thank you to all the wonderful staff. M Astle
Had a great Christmas lunch with Work team, staff are great and made it a very enjoyable experience!
Very good overall, if a little cramped. Will go back.
Bustling, friendly little restaurant Great service & tasty food Nice background music Reasonably priced & good house wine
Great service, fab food and good vibe and music in the restaurant
The quality of food was average :( it was better before !
Service sporadic although charming and the space is very cramped. Food is very good
Polpo is my go to place when I’m in London. It’s a great place to meet people, cocktails are good and fried olives and Frito Misto are my favourites 💙
Great food and service was friendly. Could've been a little quicker at times and had to prompt a waiter over to take the food order and to order desserts and the bill.
Good service and food, will probably visit in the future.
The young waitress was lovely and couldnt be more helpful
lovely place to have lunch in a busy shopping area
Bad service bad Music, would nog recommend To others for night out
Not good service. Understand why is was half empty now.
Simply wonderful - food, staff, atmosphere and their negroni’s :)
Good we had booked this busy restaurant for a mid week lunch. Waiter Victor was knowledgable about the wine and enthusiastic in recommending dishes from the menu. All the food was served hot and was very tasty. A definite hit and we will be back.
Great service, fab food, good cocktails. Recommend the lamb and roast potatoes.
Creative, delicious food served efficiently by the most wonderful waitress.
We usually love Polpo but the service was incredibly slow and we had to check our order two or three times with the staff as they didn't know what we had ordered.
Always great at Polpo Soho. Food amazing and great atmosphere. 4th time visiting and would always go back. Make sure you book in advance as weekends get busy
Good food but service very patchy. We had booked a table but when we arrived it was chaotic. Every time we wanted water/cutlery/to order more food it was difficult to get hold of a waiter.... didn’t quite live up to expectations for that reason
A good evening, delicious food. Always enjoy going to Polpo
Staff were attentive and friendly, food was great and the house wine lovely. Tables are a bit cramped.
Absolutely fab, loved it. Food was delish and atmosphere great.
Loved the food. Would prefer proper wine glasses though pleade
Restaurant was very busy, we had to wait for wine menu and quite some time passed before we managed to place our food order. Each time we had to catch attention of our waiter and even that wasn’t easy. Our waiter was nice and polite but clearly over stretched.Portions were smaller than last time I was there but food was as good as always.
Food portions were too small. You pay to get out hungry. Fish was not good at all.
Polpo Soho is a brilliant place. Food is out of this world, charming and intelligent people work there and atmosphere is great
Very poor service but great tasting food. Would recommend to train staff better
Tables tiny, very close together and quite noisy. However, good food and buzzy atmosphere
Disappointing performance from one of my (previously) favourite restaurants in central London. They had run out of Prosecco (so no aperitivos), also no house white or house red available. First two choice of menu items (Fritto misto and Hake) were not available we discovered after ordering. Not acceptable at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon. Waiter didn't write down our order so two dishes were missing and one had incorrect topping. Second waiter dropped dishes twice when he was collecting plates. Very disappointed as this was a supposed to be a special occasion lunch at one of my favourite places to eat.
Helpful, friendly, great food and more than enough food for everyone.
Nice food, good service. The 12 pounds service fee is too high for a 1 hourdiner
Loved our dinner. Sharing plates, atmosphere and server. Just the best!
We have been using the restaurant's cook book, Polpo, and were in London so decided to visit. The food was good, but not great. I can think of a dozen restaurants in Venice that are at least as good. But if you are not in Venice, this is a nice opportunity to experience Venetian enotecca food in London. Also, a good selection of Italian wines. Worth a visit.
Really very good, It was recommended to me and didn’t disappoint, looking forward to returning.
food was good. like the small dish idea. would come back
gorgeous food, friendly staff and not to formal. great place for a chat.
Great food and drink. Very nice comfortable surroundings. Service a bit hap hazard though but very friendly
Food was great, atmosphere was nice and service was great.
