Great food, excellent service. The restaurant itself has a lovely ambience; the area outside was not the most enticing. No problem; will certainly visit it again. A bit on the pricey side but worth it.

The service was very good and quick, the waitresses were very attentive. the food was good and tasty and well presented. its a nice restaurant with good food and service. we had liqueur coffees to finish these were rather too sweet. I would certainly go again.

The food was average and service was hardly attentive, despite the restaurant being half full.

Food was Divine! Service could have been a little quicker but it just gave us a more relaxed feel to the place.

Excellent service - prompt and polite. The food was delicious - I had Calamari to start, then Spaghetti Carbonara and (obviously) Tirimisu for dessert all washed down with a jug of Sangria

We have been visiting Portofino for a number of years now and never been disappointed. There have been some changes to the menu in recent months though these have only improved the offer, particularly on desserts. Great food and great service, what more could you want?

The only fault I have about my visit were the small children that spoiled the atmosphere, but of course this was not the restaurants fault. The staff were very helpful and didn't look down their noses at you as some do. They couldn't do enough to make sure you had a lovely evening, but also gave you the space to just enjoy yourselves. The food was amazing and it was nice to see the chef keep checking to see if we were enjoying it. The man clearly takes a great deal of pride in his work and it showed with every mouthful. If we are ever in Stoke again then we will definitely be visiting Portofino.
