Portofino never lets you down food always very very nice

Arrived early but that wasn't a problem Food was tasty . Very pleasant experience

We went last night to celebrate our anniversary pre-theatre! And it didn't let us down - the food was amazing, excellent sized portions, only down side, no room for desert!

positives...lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, gluten free options, good prices but...quite cold in there (possibly due to air con in the ceiling...it was taped up apart from one bit which had come loose) and the waiting time for food was quite significant (slightly stressful as we were going to the theatre afterwards) so no time for dessert. Overall, we would go again but maybe not when we have time pressure!

Slow service and overcooked tasteless food. Carbonara cream sauce had no cheese or bacon. Chicken was overcooked I pointed out how dark it was to the waiter, he shrugged and walked off.

Pleasant staff, restaurant was very busy but no delays in service and food was very nice, well done to the staff 👍

The staff were all lovely but be warned if eating at the pre theatre timing food takes a while so book an extra half hour before. The windows upstairs are also full of gaps so wrap up!

Usually nice, this time veg was frozen and microwaved, came out hard and cold, made me another side dish and came still hard the carrots and veg. Rubbish

Brilliant service even when it was very busy on Saturday evening. Food arrived quickly, really delicious and fresh. We had the pre theatre menu which was very reasonably priced. Just round the corner from the theatre, highly recommend.

Friendly warm welcome to the restaurant, found it to be a spacious restaurant. Our first visit . There was a Good choice of dishes and dessert/drinks . Food tasty and piping hot . Would return for another visit .
