We visited at lunchtime, the food was excellent and the staff were lovely.

Food and service was lovely. We were sat upstairs which is a little lacking in atmosphere.

Food was ok, service was good but felt very rushed when asking for our order, and between courses, it was almost like they needed the table although the restaurant wasn’t busy. The area where we were sitting was very chilly and draughty.

The wine was much more expensive than other italian restaurants.

Disappointed. Been a regular visitor of portofino’s the last few years and always been greeted with a welcome and found the service and food to be excellent.

Starters were good, main courses were just smothered in cheap cheese and lacking flavour.

Second visit and the food was fabulous. Compliments to the Chef
