Provender Cafe Bistro

We were celebrating our daughter's graduation and they couldn't have been more accommodating and kind. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. I would highly recommend.

"Provence night" - excellent cuisine, some really interesting dishes. Service perfect as usual.

Great food and atmosphere and the mid week menu is a must.

Very disappointing meal . My steak tartare starter was totally overpowered by mustard . The meat itself seemed good quality so it was a shame it had so much mustard mixed in. My main course was Tuna steak that was Truly awful . It was super thick which I thought strange and the meat inside was almost rubbery and hardly tasted like tuna . It was possibly the worst single dish I can remember being served . The staff were good and offered me an alternative. I had a steak that was ok . Not the best but compared to the tuna perfectly edible. My wife’s meal was absolutely fine and I have to say having eaten here before on many occasions this is the first time I’ve been disappointed. So hopefully a one off .

The Food is very good and so is the service.

We were a party of 9 and everyone really enjoyed their meals. The restaurant was excellent in all respects, value for money and the white wine was served at the perfect temperature, which doesn't always happen. The service was attentive but not intrusive.

A friend and I went on Saturday for lunch - stuffed rabbit leg was phenomenal - Duck breast was excellent - the fish board made a brilliant shared starter - something on there for the both of us a triumph as always!

Quick and friendly service. Good size portions. Cod was under seasoned. Cassoulet was delicious and well cooked.

The food was excellent, we really enjoyed it along with the service.

Usually food is excellent. My Salad starter was superb. However the main a burger (that i have ordered many times before) was disappointingly dry (brioche, burger, etc) and my fries mainly too short so hard and unappetizing. It was a birthday treat so did not want to make a fuss. Im hoping it was just a one off, i guess everyone has bad days. My companions seemed happy with their mains.
