Putney Pies London

A great little find in Putney with such a unique, reasonably priced menu. Service knocked full marks - could've been more attentive. Food was great!

The food was good, the service was friendly and professional and the venue itself is interesting. Overall a great place, we will definitely be back.

Always fantastic quality food, great service and wonderful atmosphere. Upstairs feels intimate and there is a real party atmosphere downstairs. The pies are to die for, generous servings and a flawless menu. We return on a regular basis.

Along wait and my side dish arrived even later,feeling that the food was good, service friendly and downstairs vibe was nice. Definitely going back again.

It was lovely to come in from the pouring rain and dark and upon opening the door, the smell of steaming hot pies being cooked greeted you. Had the steak, ale and Stilton which was lovely; my husband had the venison hot pot - personally too meaty for me - I would have prefered it if it had more potato/pastry accommpanying it.

The underground bar downstairs had a great atmosphere, quirky little bunker bar. The restaurant upstairs served delicious pies, I can highly recommend the aubergine pie!

It was convenient to book online. We had a wonderful evening at Putney Pies! Delicious! I would definitely recommend Quandoo and Putney Pies. Do it!

The food was good and the service friendly. Only issue is the acoustics in the down stairs bar. Impossible to converse with people sitting opposite you. This was however detailed on the website.

Always a happy experience at Putney Pies. Great atmosphere both upstairs, in the restaurant and down in the vault which has the same menu and often live music after 10pm. Staff friendly and welcoming, food really good, interesting range of beers and nice wines.

GREAT FOOD! Tasty cocktails, Great atmosphere and lovely accommodating staff. An all round great winter warmer. I cannot wait to go back and try something different from the menu.

Very nicely decorated, friendly staff, the understanding of English could have been a little better from our server. The portions of food are WAY too big, but all in all we will go again and not order any starters.

Slightly disappointing 5th visit last night. We ordered the special starter of the day and after waiting 15 minutes or so, were told that they had run out - that was at 7.30pm! We then ordered two different starters to be told that one of them wasn't available either! My husband ordered a Guiness beer to drink - when it was brought it was the same replacement beer that he had had in November, but he wasn't told this when it was brought. Apparently they are still waiting for a delivery....Service was also incredibly slow, though we did receive a 'loyalty' discount off our bill at the end.

Went with friends for a pre Xmas get together. Great service and great food. also a goods selection of beers! Would go again and would recommend to anyone who loves a pie.

Very good and affordable food. Had the spiced mutton pie from the specials board - highly recommended. Good selection of drinks available and venue was very accomodating for pushchairs.

Great pies, great service, great atmosphere, great desserts, great location, great wine list, You seem to have it all, so I'll be back with the same friends and more

Putney Pies has a great terrace right but the river. They offer a nice big drinks selection with a great food selection. Staff are super friendly and the music vibey in the evening.

The staff was very friendly, the restaurant had a cozy atmosphere, and good service. The pies were fresh and very good. Very extensive menu with a lot of drink and food choices.

Once again Putney Pies live up to its friendly atmosphere and staff with a visit to the vault this time which leads out to the river thames sheer brilliant!!!!!

Good pies! Pies pies pies! I liked the pies. We liked the pies. I had some fries. I tell no lies. It was no surprise. Also the underpass to the river was lovely!

Very busy, excellent staff - attentive, accurate and quick. Pies were excellent I had the shortcrust Beef Bourginon which was excellent plus sublime scotch egg to start

A delightful, if rather cheeky waiter who made sure we had what we wanted. Delicious food and LOTS to eat. Very interesting place with a view out the back of the River Thames.

Excellent food, the pies, mash and chips were perfect and spot on. I would highly recommend. Atmosphere and service very good as well. We will be going again soon.

Great pies - great location. It would have been great to have sat by the river but there were works taking place so access was denied. Pies are brilliant and definitely worth a repeat visit. Recommended.

Very good pies!! really great relaxed service and a nice setting by the bridge. Good selection of very different flavoured pies and all come with yummy mash and gravy.

Great food had the pulled pork pie with great chips. Then the Eton mess was delicious. Friendly attentive staff. Great restaurant will definitely be going back very soon

Another Stirling performance from the whole team at Putney Pies. From the service, the ambience down to every dish they never fail to deliver. Excellent.

The food at Putney Pies is fantastic. Would definitely recommend a visit. My wife and I shared a couple of pies so we got the chance to taste 2 and we weren't disappointed!

Great place! The pies were brilliant, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone - and the outside area by the vault was an added bonus :)
