Starting off back in 2006 as just one tiny shop, Raggas has now grown into a number of restaurants in Liverpool, a testament to their popularity. Situated on Lark Lane, the St Michael's and Dingle branch has established itself a loyal fan base since it opened and on the menu you’ll find an array of Caribbean favourites, from fried and jerk chicken to hearty stews and curries. We recommend trying the curried mutton (tender chunks of mutton in a Caribbean-style curry sauce or the infamous Jamaican jerk burger, a homemade beef burger infused with Ragga’s unique jerk seasoning.
Despite the plethora of meaty options, vegetarians will not feel left out either with options like the vegetable curry, and it will be hard to resist loading up your plate with Raggas serious selection of sides, which range from fried plantain to sweet potato fries and rice & peas. To guarantee a table at this local favourite, located on Lark Lane in Liverpool’s St Michael’s area, make a reservation in advance!
