Rajdoot Tandoori - Birmingham

Excellent atmosphere, food and service. Would definitely recommend to others. Due to its popularity the waiting times were longer than expected. Looking forward to next time.

I have been to Rajdoot a few times and this place never disappoints. Great food, great service and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended for those people who love good indian cuisine

We've visited this restaurant on numerous occasions & consider it to be one of the very best in Birmingham. I think on this occasion we experienced the exception to the rule. The restaurant was extremely busy & a private function was also taking place. We waited longer than normal for our order to be taken, the drinks & pompadoms arrived satisfactorily, but fed up of waiting we had to ask for our mixed starters - they arrived cold, we sent them back, they returned micro-waved & were dry. They were returned & tandoori fish was offered as a replacement. However, having eaten a small amount of the main course, the night had been ruined & we took the leftovers home aa a takeaway. Many apologies were offered & a discount provided. Such a disappointment.

One of the best Indian restaurants, I have been going for over 10 years and love it. Food, Service and staff are wonderful, The Rajdoot special is a must off the menu.

All the food we ordered was very good and fresh. Rajdoot has a nice atmosphere, as well as very friendly and attentive staff. I have been to Rajddot on several occassions and will definitely return.

Great as always, delicious food, friendly staff, authentic Indian food. Not to oily just perfect. My Dad had the fish curry and absolutely loved it

The food was delivious but the service was slow for a quiet week night. We would definitley try it again and sample more of the menu

We had an enjoyable night with good food and service. The restaurant was a little quiet for a Saturday night but still ranks as one of the better Indian restaurants in Birmingham.

The food, service and surroundings are second to none. Not cheap, but as ever in life you get what you pay for and worth every penny. Would definitely come back.

Loved the bar area where we had a drink when we arrived and ordered our food. Excellent meal and very attentive and pleasant staff. Would definitely recommend despite being slightly outside the main restaurant/ bar area of central Birmingham

Good food and excellent service. Quiet for a Friday night, but normal after Christmas, it was a lovely relaxing experience and we would highly recommend it.

Always a warm welcome. The menu spoils for choice & it doesn't matter what you order you know it's going to be very tasty & satisfying. We consider the Rajdoot Tandoori to be the best Indian restaurant in town & it's always a treat. This occasion was the same as all of our previous - excellent. We look forward to our return.

Nice food,I would say a little over priced,but I guess you pay a premium when dining out in a city.The restaurant was very nice,with a nice relaxed atmosphere,not too loud and the staff were very friendly and attentive.All in all,I would have no problem recommending this restaurant,and I would go again

Very delayed service and little vegetarian options. Only good thing was the ambience. Staff were not very professional. Most likely not going to visit the restaurant again

The service was terrible, took over an hour and a half forthe food to arrive. The food was oily and very average. The staff lied. Overall a very disappointing evening after wanting to go there for a long time. Will not be returning.

We went for our 10th anniversary meal so were expecting something really special from what we had heard. Firstly being asked to order your meal in bar/foyer area isnt really my idea of special but ok moved on from that. Then went to sit at our table and were being put squashed up in a corner where we would be seated 90 degrees to each other, hardly a romantic setting. Seated elsewhere with little fuss to be fair. As i was driving only had the one beer so asked for a jug of ice water. Came with no ice and when i asked for some was told its already chilled. Food was good and prices a little more than you would usually pay but overall portion sizes could be a little larger. Bill came and paid by card but then noticed a charge for wine which we didnt have. A lot of fuss to refund me the cash which they calculated incorrectly and tried to give me €’s instead of £’s. Overall a nice restaurant with good food but didnt have that wow factor i was looking for and service needs improving.

The restaurant has very lovely decor, our food was well presented, tasted great and the staff very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Will definitely return in the future.
