The Red Hart is a simple country pub with nice ambience & friendly staff. We have eaten there many times. Our last meal was slightly disappointing, rather boring with little flair. However we will be back.

Lovey place tucked away. Staff very friendly, good selection of beers and cider on tap. Food was excellent. Lots of choice on the children’s menu for my Son. Really good play area outside. Will be visiting again.

Friendly welcome and excellent choice of food. All beautifully cooked - as always. We have taken lots of our friends there and they are always impressed. Lovely dog friendly pub/restaurant.

Booked a table for lunch, very warm welcome. Lovely bar and restaurant, good food and good value.

Unfortunately there was nothing on the menu that appealed to any of us and the prices seemed rather high. So we had a drink and left.

Food was average and not particularly good value for money. Waitress not very attentive and we weren't asked if we wanted more drinks. Overall choice on menu disappointing as this used to be our 'go to' place. The so called creamy mashed potato was far from creamy and could even have been instant. Very disappointing overall as pub is attractive and in a nice area but the overall experience also wasn't enhanced by a large, noisy party at the next table.

We have been to Red Hart several times and have yet to have a bad meal. Food and service are both excellent. Would highly recommend.

Service was very slow, food was ok but not worth the £105 pounds paid. I had steak this was tough and gristly waitress was informed ( I did say I don’t expect anything off the bill but please tell your cook) she did not come back only with the bill shocking place I wouldn’t go back I will be advising all I know to give this place a wide berth
