Always a good Pub for a night out with the focus being on the whole visit not just the Food/Ale etc. Having said that the Ale is as good as you'll get anywhere in the Forest.

Not impressed today, food cold and chewy roast beef, I did mention it to the waited but nothing was done about it. Tasted like the food had been sat there for about an hour.

Very friendly staff, staff managed very well with large amount of customers, very dog friendly bar, seems to be very popular with dog walkers.

One of the best Sunday roasts I’ve had out in a while.

We had to wait for 40 minutes for our food, but it was worth the wait as the food was lovely. Good sized portions, perfectly cooked veg and good service. We have eaten there on numerous occasions and will eat there again.

Invited our daughter & son-in-law for lunch at The Red Heart. They really enjoyed the ambiance of the pub and restaurant and were impressed by the choice of food offered. We always enjoy eating here and have never been disappointed.

Great service and frienly staff. The choice of food and the flavours were lovely, as always. Always nice to see a real fire - a great way to end 2018.

Had very nice lunch. Very reasonably priced and good menu and specials board. Warm and friendly welcome. Only slight niggle the service was a little slow. Will certainly dine there again.

Good food, good prices and very friendly service. Just a pleasant and roomy pub with lots of character and an ample choice of beers. Second time we've dined here and it certainly won't be the last.

Good pleasant, polite reception, good atmosphere with a selection of beers on offer. Most importantly, the food was excellent and very good value for money.

We enjoyed our meal very much and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hardest thing was looking at the website where the booking logo kept getting in the way so we couldn't read the menu, especially the prices! Extremely annoying and nearly put us off going.

Visited this the Red Hart for the first time for lunch. The food was great, the prices were great and the two young ladies who served us (the one behind the bar was new to the job) were more than attentive, efficient and very friendly. A definite "must go to" pub. Will definitely coming here again.

Had a lovely meal at the Red Hart Blaisdon for Grill night. Great food and very welcoming. Would highly recommend and we will be going again.

Fantastic food and great service as always. We have taken lots of friends to The Red Hart over the past few years and they have all agreed that the food is wonderful and such a great choice. Always a friendly welcome and great service. We'll be back.

Had a lovely evening, parking was easy, the ambience is good, there's attentive wait staff and delicious food (easy to change side dishes too) - will definitely go again!

Very disappointed. Service very good but food awful. Paying nearly £18 for a steak that came with 1 roasted tomato, a mushroom and a portion of frozen chips that were dry as dust. Sadly we will not be returning to eat there.

Food fabulous, I loved the fish curry. Service was on the slow side ( I think they forgot us) and the staff didn’t smile much.

Loved the pub and enjoyed the food. Service was friendly and welcoming.Great to be sitting outside, enjoying the garden , sunshine and having a good relaxed chat.

Hair in salad and a swearing member of public ( obviously local to pub as staff were laughing and joking with him). Waited a long time for coffee ( was sat in machine) then given it cold. A bit disappointed as was not offered discount for hair in food.
