Red Pump Inn

We timed our visit to the red pump well, it was our 35th wedding anniversary and st Patrick's day which gave us a taste of a live band playing at the pub which was amazing. Fran and Jonathan are the perfect hosts and no request is too small, the restaurant is cosy and warm especially when the fires are lit, with amazing food and staff that certainly know what they are doing. All in all a fantastic place to eat and stay.

Would highly recommend the Red Pump - the food, bedrooms and all round ambience of the place is lovely. Wouldn’t hesitate to return, the team couldn’t do enough for us.

Busy pub/restaurant with great food. Good choice of drinks - in our case beers and gins. Great atmosphere too, with unexpected live music for St Patrick's Day. Well worth a visit.

Great atmosphere, wonderful, personal service. The owners made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent and very prompt service considering it was Mothers Day.

Very good food and lovely atmosphere. Wasn't too busy so we got a table OK. Definitely going back next time we want a Sunday roast.

Just perfect. A lovely pub wuth a great menu and good value for money. The staff are lovely and had a nice smile :) I can highly recommend the mussels and the mushroom souffle!

Visited the Red Pump on my boyfriends birthday over Christmas and had the Best steak I have ever eaten melted in my mouth can’t wait to return 😀excellent

Excellent service, and excellent food. No better steak in the Ribble Valley. Ginger Pig steak, cooked to perfection, just melts in the mouth, definitely a favourite place to go

All round excellence. 5* food as well as 5* staff....The Red Pump Inn has a welcoming friendly atmosphere. I've been to many pubs in the ribble valley and nothing has yet compared to the Red Pump

We had a very enjoyable experience for our group of seven with vegan options provided for one of our party. Great beers, food and friendly staff encouraged a second visit during our weeks stay in the Forest of Bowland.

We had a superb meal at the Red Pump last night. The atmosphere was good and the food and service was superb. We were greeted as soon as we entered and were made to feel very welcome.

Got it right at the Red Pump since the new owners took over atmosphere, staff and of course the food spot on enjoyable evening on Saturday

In our opinion The Red Pump is offering the best Sunday Roast in the Ribble Valley. We had the Roast Rib of Beef which was perfectly cooked and served by friendly staff.

The meal was fantastic and staff were very attentive. Probably the best steak I have had for a long time the restaurant is well worth a visit.

I would have liked slightly more choice on the menu but after saying all that it is a steak house and my ribeye was delicious.

First class venue, food, atmosphere and service. We can recommend the steaks. Best we've had for so e time. Thoroughly enjoyable evening. Will definitely return.

The food was fabulous. Staff and customer service was just as good - it was perfect :). They couldn't have done anything more for us - even provided reading glasses!!!!!!

Lovely Sunday lunch with the family, will return to try the full menu soon. Beautiful location, yurts look interesting for an overnight stay didn't see the bedrooms!

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Lovely oldy worldly building. Land lady and staff very friendly and couldn't have been more welcoming. Had a lovely breakfast on both days and excellent evening meal. Fabulous stay would highly recommend.

Very warm and welcoming with good choice of food. The service is good with staff being helpful, pleasant and efficient. The ambience in the dining room is nice and it's a very relaxing and comfortable venue.

We had a lovely meal at the Red Pump, it is set in a beautiful location, the food was of an extremely high quality and there was a good range on the wine list. Our waitress was very pleasant too. Highly recommended

Excellent value for Sunday lunch. Service, food and beer very good. Atmosphere good for quiet 5 pm dinner. Would class this as one of the top dining places in the area.

We had a lovely evening with excellent food and drinks, the staff all helped to make the evening good by making us comfortable and getting the level of service just right. The Red Pump is a lovely old pub in beautiful surroundings and the food and drinks are first class. There are lots of steak options as the restaurant specialises in steak but there are other choices and both the fish and chicken were also excellent. Thank you for a great evening

Excellent food and service. Very pleasant and professional staff. Enjoyed our visit immensely. Would certainly recommend Red Pump Inn to anyone who was in the area.

We had the 32oz sharing beef rib, medium rare and very tender, served with a decent amount of salad and homemade chips. We added 3 sauces, £1 each, very reasonable. In fact, the whole meal felt like really good value for money. Add to that a nice cosy environment and friendly efficient service and it all made for a very enjoyable experience

red pump inn is a lovely venue. interiors are traditional modern and service very good. food was good. only gripe was the ham from the bone was unfortunately still on the bone in my sandwich, so quite a few bits to pick out. otherwise great.
