At Regards in the Chad Valley neighbourhood of Edgbaston, a touch of luxury is brought to Birmingham’s notoriously good Indian cuisine, with exquisite dishes created from the finest of ingredients and then dished up in stylish and relaxed surroundings. While the city may have no shortage of Indian restaurants, Regards stands out as one of Birmingham’s best with their high quality cuisine. Located on Chad Square on Hawthorn Road, we recommend making a reservation here in advance!
Taking traditional cooking techniques and combining them with the best of ingredients to create delicious and authentic Indian cuisine and then serving them up in an elegant and modern setting, it is no wonder that Regards is one of Birmingham and certainly Edgbaston’s most popular Indian eateries. As you would expect, the extensive menu features all of the time-honoured favourites alongside some of the chefs exclusive dishes.
Begin your meal with a speciality starter like hot garlic fish, fillets of Bangladeshi fish coated in a thick batter and smothered in a tomato and garlic sauce, or go for a classic option – you will of course find a selection of pakoras, kebabs, and samosas on the menu. What sets Regards apart from other Indian eateries in Birmingham is their combination dishes that allow you to sample two different but complementary curries on the one plate, which is useful because with so many delicious options you could struggle deciding on just one. For a special Indian dining experience in Edgbaston, book a table at Regards on Hawthorn Road.
Pleasant welcome on arrival with attentive but not overpowering service. Our food was well presented, tasty & satisfying. The food & drink was realistically priced. Generally, a good evening which will be repeated shortly.
Celebrating a birthday. We had great food and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The staff were attentive and very pleasant and served the food professionally. The meal was delicious.
Great food and service, very welcoming and good free parking facilities right outside the restaurant. Already booked another table in advance. . . . .
A nice friendly atmosphere and polite efficient staff. The menu has a wide and varied selection of dishes and the ones we had were excellent , the bar had a good range of bottled and draught drinks available.
A great find - food and service were superb. And disabled access very good. There was a wide range of choice of dishes; each of our party chose a different menu,, and all ewere proclaimed excellent.
Had a very enjoyable meal there very quiet but as it was Monday night probably expected. Could not fault the food or the service of the staff, very polite & helpful. No complaints what's so ever.
Lovely atmosphere inside the restaurant as it was quite busy. Starters were superb especially off the chefs specialities. Hot garlic fish was superb and so were the king prawns. Mains were just as good and would highly recommend anyone to go here.
Lovely lamb tawa!!! So. Nice service was good worth the 45 minute wait garlic bread had to be re done - pleasant evening would definetly return to the restaurant for either take out or dining. Toilets could do with refurbish
Excellent service and catered for a large group superbly. Unfortunately they missed the lamb in a chicken and lamb sagwalla and still charged for it but I doubt this is a regular occurrence
Splendid menu choice coupled with nice selection of wines and beer. Good food and service - pleascent surroundings - easy access and parking. Standard maintained over several visits.
