Excellent restaurant great food bit too noisy last night due to a bombastic loud man not your fault

Lovely food , relaxing atmosphere and Great service and good value for set lunch.

Service could be better. Didn't offer to take our coats. The waiter could have mentioned they had no trout when handing out the menus instead of waiting until we ordered it. When we asked for water the waiter produced 2 glasses along with a jug of water but made no attempt to pour it leaving it for me to do. He also failed to show me the wine before pulling the cork.

Good food and value for money would book there again

What a lovely restaurant. Never disappoints on the quality of the food, friendly staff and the feeling you are being looked after well while there. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious food and wines served in a warm and stylish restaurant with attentive and friendly waiters .. the perfect choice. We love it there.

Six of us enjoyed a super meal. It was, as always, beautifully cooked and tasted really good. Very pleasant and attentive staff. Will go again soon.

Excellent as usual. The lunchtime menu is very good value for money.

This was not as good as visit as it usually is. Several mistakes were made with our ordering. The trout hadn't arrived yet, so we were offered salmon. This turned out to be quite dry. They were very busy but I still expect politeness.

Always a good evening but can get quite noisy as smallish restaurant.

Very good as usual, had to wait longer for food but that could have been as it was a Tuesday night and not so many staff on.

This is my favourite Italian Reataurant. Have been coming here for a long time. The staff are fabulous, the food is perfect and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The restaurant were not expecting us and made us sit and wait until they had finished their lunch. The coke was flat and warm. The trout was luke warm and had appeared to have been reheated in a microwave not freshly grilled. The potatoes were very oily. The firm I was given with the apple smelt of fish - we all agreed on this. Service was perfunctory. Two stars for a good pasta and lasagna. We wont be returning.

The food and service are very good. On the night we visited there was a music night. The noise level was horrendous. If we had known hen we booked we would gone on another night.

I have visited on numerous occasions and i can not find fault with the food, staff or overall ambience.

A meal to be enjoyed at a less than busy place on a Sunday lunch time was enjoyable

We have been many times but felt the service was under par because of the lack of attention to us as customers, taking away the vegetables that weren’t served and having to ask for the smallest things like water and mustard.

went for set luch and the food quality was very poor. me and my guest had stomach upset with the chicken. we will not return

Another great meal at this lovely Italian restaurant. The choice on the set menu is wide-ranging and it's excellent value for money. As always, the service was attentive but unobtrusive.

Very good food and attentive service - a most enjoyable evening

We went on a Friday evening & so expected it to be busy, which it was. Despite this, the service was faultless. The food is always good & the menu choices are amazing. We're looking forward to our next visit.
