Lovely atmosphere, incredibly professional staff, and the food is superb. My advice is to order what you want and like the look of, not what you feel you should be eating. Having said that the signature rolls are amazing, we had the Tempura prawn signature roll and it was one of the best things I have ever eaten...

Delicious. Fantastic service as always in Ogino. We visited the restaurant across lunchtime and we were able to select meals from the main menu or a “lunchtime” menu. I’m not sure the potion sizes are the same for lunch, but we were suitably satisfied. We can’t wait for our next visit.

Food was good as always. It was just one person was a little too grumpy it was as if that person wanted to throw the food across the table because they were in a bad mood. Other that that I would still recommend the restaurant to others.

From making the initial booking, somebody contacted me to let me know my Gluten free & Dairy free intolerances would be best met by pre-ordering my meal, and then a reminder call as I had forgotten. The restaurant setting, the service, and the food were all excellent, the sharing platter was amazing as was the Suzuki sea bass main meal was delicous to eat and look at, and well worth waiting for (they had a large party in and they did apologise for the delay in bringing the main) but it wasn't too long, and was handled proffesionally, my husband wasn't originally keen on Japanese but is now a convert, it was truly excellent!

The food and service was excellent as usual. The only issue we had was about the level of noise as the restaurant filled up we couldn’t hear each other easily to converse. But overall we and our friends enjoyed the experience.

Excellent throughout from the warm welcome to the attentive staff to the amazing food. We can’t wait to return. The food is beautifully presented. Interesting menu. Wow!

It wasn’t what I am used to, maybe it was the first night of the new menu!! In all 3 courses there was an issue. Fish bones in my starter cold scallops in my main and the mango coulis from my desert was off. I hope this was only a once off.

The food and service was excellent. The only moan would be the air con was rather fierce so by the end of the evening we were rather chilly.

Ogino restaurant always delivers fab food and good service. We have just been on a Sunday night and it was almost full of people. We shall definitely be going back!

Incredible service and amazing food. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, the service was of the highest of standards. Cannot recommend the black sesame creme brulee enough for desert. Absolute game changer.

Booked a table here on the 5th may for myself and partner as a special treat as he had not had Japanese before and was very impressed with the meal and can't wait to visit again. Best food he's tasted and excellent presentation. Thankyou to the staff who were very polite and helpful which puts an added touch to our visit. Would certainly recommend to friends.

Food and service excellent (as usual). Tasting platter starter contained six elements plus accompaniments - all delicious. Spicy tuna steak cooked perfectly. Good sized portions - too full for dessert!

Ogino never fails to deliver high quality food exquisitely presented by very attentive staff in a setting of relaxed ambiance. Continues to be my first choice restaurant and recommend every one I meet they must try.

Absolutely excellent. The service was friendly and prompt, me and my friend where not really sure the best way to order (i.e. do we want our sushi role with our starter or main) the waiter recommended we have it as a separate course which was the right decision. I had pork belly to stars, a spicy tuna sushi role, and a pork katsu curry (this was from the lunch time menu). everything was fantastically delicious, would recommend to anyone.

A must try experience. The oyster shooters were amazing!! Lovely staff and service which was attentive but not ott ! I felt that even though the food was good it is a tad over priced and the room could've had more of a Japanese vibe e.g..authentic music.

Third visit to this restaurant. The food is consistently of an excellent standard and the service is always friendly, efficient and speedy. If there had to be a minor criticism it would be that the music tonight was just slightly louder than I would expect. Otherwise a very enjoyable meal

Food was amazing and the staff are really friendly. Would recommend the pork tenderloin sushi rolls as a summer special and smoked duck for main, puts all other duck dishes I've had to shame.

I love Ogino. Wonderful food and ambience. The only problem (which is not a problem for us), is that you cannot be in too much of a hurry to finish your meal. The food is freshly prepared and takes a little while to serve especially when they are busy. We love to have a long leisurely dinner with no pressure to complete. The sushi is wonderful as is the choice of main course. The fried rice is beautifully cooked.

Excellent food and service. Atmosphere, even for a Tuesday, was very good. It was our wedding anniversary and this was recognised without any prompting. Well worth the cost although not cheap.
