The food is excellent albeit a little confusing to choose and not much guidance from waiting staff other than trying to up sell! Our 2nd visit and the atmosphere wasn't as buzzing as before, however that can be due to all sorts of factors! The tables for 4 in the middle are too small once food is delivered and the banquettes are too big for 4 !!!!

Good points:- Great service, nice surroundings, starters were excellent (the mixed selection for two), with assorted dipping sauces and pickled ginger. Reasonably priced. Less good points:- the main courses were disappointing - beautifully presented, but a little lacking in flavour (compared to the starters)

Excellent service, helpful staff. very tasty and well cooked food. Have been to the restaurant several times and never had less than an enjoyable evening. Would recommend the restaurant without hesitation.

Went for husbands birthday and had the semi private room. Perfect way to celebrate his special day. Service and food was top notch as always.

In my opinion this is the best restuarant in Beverely. The staff are so friendly and it is very obvious they have been trained to a very high standard. They are a credit to their employer. We have dined at Ogino a few times and will continue to do so.

Really nice visit to Ogino. A very hot evening,and the lack of air conditioning was noticeable! Meal nice but had better previously there before this visit. Still enjoyed our visit though.

Food was very different, and although each of us had different dishes, we all enjoyed what we had. Not a particularly cheap venue, but worth the cost.

4 of us went for a meal on the Sunday afternoon. The service was second to none. Very helpful waiting staff without be obtrusive. The food was absolutely delicious and very well presented. Would definitely recommend a visit to this fantastic restaurant and we will definitely return. Thank you Ogino for a wonderful experience.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Beverley the food is unbelievable, the mixed sharing platter is fabulous always something different to try, I never liked sushi until I came here and tried orgino'. The tastes, textures and combinations are amazing we can't wait to come back

Right from entering the staff were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Not having been before we relied on the waitress to guide us and we weren't disappointed. The food was fantastic. Next time we go, which won't be too long, we will go for the sushi. Thank you for a great evening.

Just the best food, and it only gets better. We have been visiting this restaurant since it opened and I think it tops any other restaurant in Beverley.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of room around the tables so you didn't feel you were listening to others' conversations. The food was beautifully presented and tasty too. The staff were helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Our sweets took longer than we expected to be served but this was just a timing issue with three large tables needing to be served their starters/mains before us. The only down side to an otherwise marvellous experience.

Fantastic service, food and ambiance. The sashimi and dumplings were georgeous and the steak succulent. Really enjoyed the full evening, A definite must go again.

The food was good and the decor and lighting was very impressive. Also large tables and comfortable seating. However service not very attentive as too long gone between courses especially for desserts. Not asked for coffee and took ages for the bill.

Found this to be rather expensive for the food provided. Although overall the food wasn't bad and I am happy we went and ate here but there is many more places

Excellent food with a variety to explore for any palate, fabulous experience and warm friendly staff who can explain each dish. Lucky to have this restaurant on our door step and as a regular visitor I like the fact they keep some of the dishes on the menu whilst adding new. Why this restaurant hasn't achieved a Michelin star amazes me.

Great for us Beverlonians, high end quality, great dishes, great service. This restaurant is better than Issho in Leeds, so when I visit Leeds I can cross Issho off the list!

Fantastic service, sublime food! The menu is extensive with something for everyone. The beef was so tender it melted in the mouth. Will certainly be paying another visit.

The food was absolutely delicious. The staff were fantastic. We would definitely recommend. We will be back to try something new from the excellent menu.

Booked for a special birthday. The staff were very pleasant and informative. The food was superb, each course crafted on your plate like a work of art, and tasted lovely, with an array of different flavours in each mouthful. Enjoyed it very much. The tables were well spaced and the atmosphere was relaxing. The only thing I didnt like personally was the background music, but this will not stop me from visiting again. This was my fourth visit.

Superb atmosphere and the food and service was second to none....best restaurant in the area by a distance. Cannot wait till our next visit, sooner rather than later hopefully.

Really great sushi and the chocolate and green tea dessert is a must have. Service was quick and restaurant was relaxing. Would go again and again.

What a super place! My wife, two grown sons and I enjoyed Saturday lunch at Ogino. Choosing a mixture of squid, sushi, pork and beef dishes from the set menu, every mouthful was a taste explosion. Couldn't resist the desserts, too, all equally delicious. We'll certainly be going back there and taking our friends and family for special occasions.

Always brilliant, the belly pork is to die for! The service is always friendly yet efficient with a good knowledge of the menu and tastes. Been before, and will be going again.

Ogino offers a unique dining experience in East Riding of Yorkshire area. The food is served with a delightful attention to detail, the front of house staff compliment the food by being attentive but not over burdensome. Would recommend for both the food and the dining experience.

One word - FANTASTIC. Would recommend it to anyone. So much to choose from and the staff are brilliant, will be going back in the very near future.

Had a very pleasant experience in Ogino's with my husband, the staff I must say were all very polite & attentive. Service was first class. Food is superb, I will certainly return. For us it will be for an occasion, such a treat dining here.

Had an amazing time yet again at Ogino. We took my mother in law and father in law who have never tried Japanese food and they really loved it.

First visit & not disappointed. Taster starter felish. Buttered fish an duck delish. Didnt like black sesame brulae but nothing wrong with it. Just not to my taste. Crepes delish. Service excellent. Will be back many times. Restaurant tastefully decorated and pleasant.

Food was fabulous, our guests said it was the best meal they had ever had and they are global travellers in their 40s. Very pleased.
