Unfortunately, this time meal wasn't as great as it should have been.

There were a lot of items missing from the menu but the food was amazing we tried things that we would not normally try. Our waitress was extremely polite and friendly. We would highly recommend a visit.

Had table booked for 6.30pm was only waiting for 20 minutes at the most for the food to arrive.

COVID precautions were excellent. We felt comfortable and secure. The food was ok and arrived in ok time. There were not many staff and this was apparent at the end of the meal as we had to wait to ask for the bill. (They need to have the area around the shed cleared up).

A nice meal in nice pub. The staff were very nice. All felt Covid safe plenty of space, hand sanitizers available, table service.

I cannot fault the waiting staff, they did there best to keep customers happy and the food was good . However, the food service was horrific, taking just under 2 hours to receive our order. I will not be coming again during the 50% deal.

Their Roasts are always ten out of ten, every weekend.

Was very busy and food took a while but we didn’t mind. They did apologise!

The drinks service was ok, but the food service was terrible. I know we all have to be more patient during this time but we had to wait 1 hour and 50 minutes for our food. Everyone else around us seemed to be having a similar problem. I suggest they do not take so many walk ins in the future and make people book a table for food. We will not be returning anytime soon.

Outstanding from start to finish. The staff were great, all very friendly and welcoming, well trained and running as a very efficient team. The new ordering system works well and the staff were happy to help anyone having any issues. As for the food, I can't fault it. I had a roast beef dinner which was by far the best I've ever had in a pub. Top marks all round, well done guys.

Would recommend the Tuesday night quiz but we had to remind the staff about our food as we had waited over half an hour just for some chips.

The food was very nice but it seemed a little too busy for a quiet evening. However, this was likely due to the Tuesday night quiz which was enjoyable.

Highly recommend, the pub is lovely, the staff are very friendly and the food is fantastic!! We had the Sunday Roasts which was absolutely gorgeous and fantastic value! And they’re dog friendly!! I would suggest booking as very busy. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely come back.

I had the Pork terrine and it was truly truly awful I’m afraid, my son had the Chix Goujons which he said were ok Fir main I had Chix & “Ham” Pie with mash & veg - pie was disappointing and very gloopy & little Chix & only one piece of Ham - a shame as staff we’re friendly & efficient A disappointing experience for sure
