Absolutely excellent - the service, the food, the wine, the atmosphere. Great success all round. Very accommodating as we were a bit late after a Barbican concert. We will be back
Delicious food nicely presented. Something had gone a bit wrong with portion control - masses of (delicious!) fried squid, but quite limited portion of (also delicious!) chicken. Also slight issue about getting the bill paid, when we were in a hurry to get to Barbican. But overall a really nice experience and will go there again.
Good food carefully prepared and well presented; friendly staff but not quite capable of dealing with the early-evening rush. Several staff are non-Spanish and don't seem familiar with the menu.
The food was excellent and staff very helpful. The windows at the front were open and it was quite cold in the restaurant. Will be back!
We visited Sabor Iberico (as usual) prior to an event at the Barbican. As we were slightly late, we went for the easy choices, the sharing meat/cheese platter and the mixed tapas. Both were excellent as was the variety of breads we ordered to go with the food. Friendly service, a reasonable choice of Spanish wines by the glass, recommended.
Friendly waiters, good selection of tapas and good variety of dessert. Coffee was delicious. The wine selection is rich. The general atmosphere is very cosy
The service was great, the food yummy and wine delish! Will definitely return and highly recommend it. It is very close to the Barnican centre too.
Very easy to make reservation, very friendly staff, good food in pleasant atmosphere for lunch (portions quite large so bear that in mind). Will go again
The restaurant has a sensible and quite excellent menu with the food served by friendly and helpful staff. It is reasonably expensive but good value for money
Very good from set menu, great service and value, will go again
Friendly service, nice meal (although the menu seemed less Italian than usual), not bad value. A good choice in the area. Reasonable choice of wines by the glass.
Alba seems to have changed hands and has become a little less Italian in its menu and, whilst the decor is an improvement, the service is not quite a friendly or slick although they are trying. It still remains a good lunchtime place for a quick and well priced meal.
Alba is great in the Summer - they can open the glass at the fron of the restaurant to create a 'street' feel. Food was as always excellent with friendly and swift service
