Saffrons Bistro

I booked the table online an hour before we were due at the restaurant. The food arrived promptly and was very nice. Our puddings were good also. A short evening meal but nonetheless a good experience.

Saffron’s is a nice place to go for dinner - they have a standard menu but work hard to make it an enjoyable experience

This restaurant has a Lovely atmosphere. We ate late and when one of our choices had sold out thenStaff were very helpful tweaking dishes. The steak was cooked to preference and the fish was delicious.

Brilliant food and service, as usual. Lovely people. Always a delight. Simply fantastic food. Try the seafood mixes grill. Awesome! Cannot recommend highly enough. Bravo!

We had a light lunch here during the Christmas markets last weekend. The food was terrific. Perfect home-made, fresh game terrine was one of the best I’ve ever tasted, and delicious gin cured smoked salmon. Interesting wine list and friendly, foodie atmosphere. Unfortunately we had lots to do in the afternoon so couldn’t take advantage of the well-stocked gin bar upstairs. Will definitely be back for more.

Food was very good and ide choice, the service was quick and not ruhed, booked online easily, will definitely book again in the near future.

Really enjoyed our meal - started very well with complimentary bread and tapenade, then had interesting starters/appetisers - lobster arancini and courgette fritters which were delicious. Mains were sea bass with very tasty leek mash. A couple of glasses of wine and some ice cream to share, and the bill for 2 was £62 plus tip. We thought good value. Nice ambiance too.

We went during lunch, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Choices of drinks and food were great, good balance of new and familiar dishes to try. We opted for a main and desert, the food was obviously freshly prepared and delicious, portion size was perfect and everything on the plate served a purpose (no pointless garnishes!) Service was relaxed but attentive that balance alot of places struggle with not once did we feel rushed. Overall food was great, staff were lovely and bonus points to the choice of background music. We will definitely be back.

Had a great evening here. The food was amazing, everything cooked as it should be. The staff were really friendly and a large selection of gins and mixers. Would recommend.

Once again we have just had a great experience here with excellent food and service and the background music is great too especially for people of a certain age!

A warm atmosphere greets you at this bustling bistro. We were quickly shown to our table in order to peruse the interesting and varied menu. (The only reason for deducting a point is the slightly tired decor in places).Drinks were offered soon after and we made our selections. Smoked wood pigeon was served with an interesting selection of mushrooms and had delicate flavour; crab cakes were also well received. My husband loved the Belly Pork dish that he ate and I thought my Sword Fish Nicoise was a clever combination with delicious lifts in taste provided by the various elements. My Pannecotta was perfectly cooked and complimented by the accompanying raspberry sorbet and fruit sauces; ginger added texture. Great food all around and a friendly ambience.

Service was great. Attentive and friendly but not overbearing. The meal was lovely and nicely balanced. Felt comfortably full after 3 courses, so perfect portions. And best of all was the music. Love Curtis Mayfield and co!

Been to Safrons quite a few times now, and it’s normally very good service and food. But not tonight, from our first encounter with a member of staff who once she had found us in her list just pointed at our table and said “your sat over there in the corner”, to a very fast service (we could easily be done and dusted in under 1 hour.) I had just put my fork down from finishing my starter when the plate was whisked away, with me mumbling a thank you (for some reason I don’t know) through a mouth of food. But, service is not normally like this, and the food was up to it’s usual great standard. Will we go again, probably yes.

Very attentive staff, the food was fabulous and whilst the restaurant was full you did not receive any less attention. It’s is great place to eat and we will be returning. The wines are reasonably priced with a good selection to choose from. If you have not been......then give it a go, it will be worth it.

Very friendly staff and good service. Food is always very good and they will adjust anything on the menu if you want something slightly different.

Always a delight. Our favourite restaurant in Worcester still, after many years. Comfortable, relaxing with tasty menu. Hav really enjoyed speciality and good n no ghost s also.

We had a fantastic meal. We have eaten at Saffron's on a regular basis and never had a bad experience. Friendly staff who are very attentive but do not rush anyone. Would highly recommend Saffron's.

Great value midweek steak special for two. Steaks excellent. The Restaurant was initially a little hot, but they turned on the air conditioning as soon as we mentioned it. Very pleasant visit.

The food was lovely, and the service good. I had mushrooms with blue cheese as a starter, which they produced without bacon for me - delicious. The mackerel was then nicely presented and tasty. For dessert, I chose eton mess - a lovely way of rounding off a meal on a warm summer evening. It was nice to be offered water with the meal, as well as alcoholic drinks.

Great restaurant. Had a fab meal, service was incredible, husband couldn’t eat the ragout so they offered to do him a lovely white sauce. Puddings were amazing. Will definitely be back.

Friendly welcome, nice setting & good wines. Husband v happy with his choices, but I was disappointed. Not enough seasoning for me, I added loads of salt to the pork and potatoes. Still, as my Mum said “you can add to, but you can’t take away!” How come your Mum knows everything?

Yet another excellent visit to Saffrons restaurant and once again we had the special meal deal which was the steak and bottle of wine for two at £35. Just got to say that they’ve got it right. Again.

It was an excellent night with fab food and first class service. The menu is varied and intolerances are easily catered for making it a pleasant experience for all diners.

Food & service excellent as ever. Never feel rushed here and there is always a great choice on the menu. A small restaurant but plenty of space between the tables. A great place to go.

Each time we go the staff are friendly and helpful. The chef is doing something right as they always know how to get the different flavours to mix and the meals taste great! Try the duck as a main or the goats cheese starter with the blackcurrent jus... amazing! Thank you for a lovely meal! Leaving here makes you think the normal food you buy from chain resturants is meh!
