Salt’n Pepper’s legacy began right in the heartland of the cuisines Salt’n Pepper specialise in, when Pakistani dining pioneer Mahmood Akbar opened his first restaurant in Lahore. From there, Salt’n Pepper has grown, through from their innovative village restaurants concept – replicating the food bazaars of Pakistan in a fine dining context – to their London flagship. Diners at Salt’n Pepper’s Orange Street premises are treated to pan-Asian fusion cuisine with a distinct Pakistani emphasis – succulent barbecued vegetables and meats, aromatic curries and Pakistani breads tenderly rub shoulders with dishes that embody the cuisines of India, Afghanistan, Iran, and further afield.
