Sea Salt

One of our party had chicken which was very dry. My Bass was very nice and all waiting staff were good fun although took along time to get our order taken. The menu's were confusing because we didn't know what was actually for today and what wasn't. However wish them luck as friendly ambience and most dishes were good. regards Tom Daniel

We had dinner on Sunday evening it made a lovely change from a roast meal. I had smoked salmon balmoral to start lovely and fresh tasting crisp cucumber soft smooth salmon nicely presented totally scrumptious. For main course I had grilled skate wing with tomato & onion salad. My skate was perfectly cooked and tasted superb. We haven't been to Seasalt for a while certainly will be returning.

Lovely mothers day set meal options. Reasonably priced main meals and a good selection of wine. Really large portions, enough to take home for lunch the following day. Thoroughly recommend.

Fabulous food and great service. We had the Sunday lunch menu - good selection of meals for each course and we enjoyed every course. Good selection of wine - including dessert wine. We will definitely return.

I treated my visiting Norwegian friend to a dinner at Sea Salt. She had the Monk Fish dish and I had the Mediterranean Cod dish. For side dishes, we had Avocado Salad and Basil Potato Mash. For wine, we had Rioja and Pinot Grigio. Excellent food and ambience. This was my second visit. Will definitely go again.

NO LOBSTER!!!!! However, the dishes we chose were excellent. Service top rate. We will definitely be going again. Will be there for my wife's birthday as this is one of her favourite restaurants.

Although not just sea food, there is a vast menu available for all sorts of tastes. The staff are super nice and able to accommodate any whim, and the desserts are to die for!

Pleasant surroundings good food presented well but if you have not seen the website you would not know there was a separate vegetarian menu we had to ask for it.

This was our first visit to Sea Salt and we were very impressed. The restaurant was pleasant and light, we were seated around a round table, which was good as everyone could see everyone else. The menu is very varied and there really was something for everyone. All the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The wine was perfectly chilled and of good quality. Our waiter was helpful and attentive. As two of our party have restricted mobility, the fact that we could park at the back of the restaurant was an added bonus. We'll definitely return, and are delighted to be able to recommend this excellent restaurant.

We visited Sea Salt to celebrate my husband and daughter's birthday. We all had a lovely time the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The Sunday roast was well cooked and well presented as was the meals from the a la carte menu. Our meal wasn't rushed and we felt very relaxed throughout.

Nice atmosphere, great food and friendly efficient staff. Couldn't fault anything. Maybe a little on the pricey side but well worth it. Tables not too close together either.

Booked for 6pm prior to a concert in local church. Service was quick and very friendly. Food excellent. One of the largest skate wings I have had was beautifully cooked. We shall definitely go again

It was my birthday so we splashed out on an evening meal at Sea Salt. My whitebait was cooked just as I like it and daintily presented. My huisband's chicken livers were succulent of full of flavour, as was my duck leg. Duck is my favourite meat and this surpassed even my critical expectations. Our chocolate pud was an indulgence and delicious - after all it was my umpteenth birthday!

Very nice food and decent sized portions. Have been a few times. Would recommend scampi wrapped in bacon. Also the the prawns in garlic butter.

First timers to the restaurant. Lovely warm welcome, We were asked where we would like to sit, which is very rare these days, but as it was a quite Tuesday evening I guess they could afford to offer. Decor beautiful, very relaxing atmosphere. Quite a variety on the menu so we found it difficult to choose initially but as it is a seafood restaurant we went for the fish, which didn't disappoint. We totally enjoyed the evening and will definitely be going back.

sea salt is the best restaurant in this area i know for sunday lunch for pure consistency . its menu is well balanced, it has the most reliable plate of food, great staff and wonderful early afternoon atmosphere.

Great food great service I would highly recommend the scallops starter followed by the serloin steak. A great wine list also. I have visited a few times and the experience was great.

Visited Sea Salt for Sunday lunch with a visitor from Canada and family and we had a wonderful meal which we all enjoyed. The staff were welcoming and very helpful and the atmosphere in the restaurant was good. Would recommend it for a meal at any time of the week and I will certainly be going again.
