We always go to this curry house. The food is amazing and the staff are great. It is a very popular restaurant and can get busy so we always book our table in advance.

Greated by friendly smiling staff who seated us fast .was happy to help the food was fantastic and so was service thanks guys will be back

Great restaurant, excellent service, great food and good value for money. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They are always able to recommend something to try if you are not sure what to have.

A brilliant restaurant, friendly staff, great service, we go there regularly as the food is delicious. Also they made my birthday special with a piece of cake and a bottle of fizz thrown in . Would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Very good service and food. Have been here before, will come again. Btw, better to book on a Friday as it became very busy after 1900hrs. Not sure about other days.

Great service, lovely food and very friendly staff at Shabar restaurant last night. Orders were taken swiftly and not a long wait for food at all.

Apart from the food being excellent, the staff are always friendly and attentive without being over bearing. We were there Saturday night and it was very busy and we didn't get that 'being rushed feeling' like you do in a lot of places. Our favorite Indian restruant ☺️

Had abit of a wait table was booked for 8pm and wasn't seated until 8.45pm,although we didn't mind the wait as the food was excellent service was good too will defiantly be going back

Disappointed. Not sure if there has been a change in chefs but the food was poor. My chicken balti was not a balti. Very bland.

Bookdfor 8pm.Waiteduntil 9pm. it was very busy but other people coming later seem to sit down before us.Otherwise great curry and friendly staff as always.

We had a great meal. Food was excellent. Service was perfect. Even brought my husband a selection of spectacles when he had forgotten his and could not read the menu! Recommended to some colleagues at NEC conference and they also were delighted.

Brilliant place. The food is excellent and the staff always make you feel really special and well looked after. Our eleven-year-old son chose to go there for his birthday meal and they made a real fuss of him and of us all. We especially love the sag paneer, but everything we've tried has been really good.

Went for a meal with friends. Didn't have to wait too long past our booking time for our table this time (which we sometimes have in the past). Good atmosphere, food was hot and tasty. Service good as well.

The staff were very friendly, we ordered a range of food which was all good apart from the English dish of roast chicken which was a bit dry. It was excellent value though, 4 courses for £9.95!

A very popular restaurant, so was very glad to have booked a table. There was a fantastic selection of dishes & ample portion sizes. Staff were friendly and attentive to customer needs.

Nice restaurant friendly and efficient staff food was not as great as on my last visit it was only warm but still enjoyed it. Very reasonably priced.

Fabulous food, wonderful service. Couldn't be faulted. So glad I booked, the restaurant was heaving at 7.15 on a Saturday, but they led us upstairs to a tranquil dining room. Go hungry! The portions are generous.

Excellent food and service despite being very busy. Table was the only one available and marked clearly reserved so it was not accidentally given to anyone else. Runs like a well oiled machine.

Very nice meal, I had a chicken tikka garlic bhuna masala hot and spicy not a bad price nice sweets nice selection of wines and beers

Nice food, bit of a wait for our main but the restaurant was busy the food could of been a bit hotter but was good overall.

The food here is fantastic and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. Be sure to book for busy times, a lesson we learned years back. Every time I visit Birmingham with business partners, this is always the place to go. Some of the ratings criteria on this form seem a little odd though - for 'noise' Mute is the best answer - but who wants to eat in a silent restaurant??
