Not good, cold starter, 5x different meals all average, Drove past always busy, thought I’d try, verdict, don’t understand why always busy, good staff very attentive, but average, rubbish chappati’s decent naan bread, won’t go again.

shajan has done a absolutely beautiful meal , nothing is too much trouble even though short staffed and very busy , the staff & owner really can not be faulted. FABULOUS!!!

Excellent food and lamb was cooked to perfection. Waiters were excellent and asked if we wanted main course bringing immediately after starter or if we wanted a few minutes before our main course arrived.

Excellent food, plenty of waiters, service very attentive, perhaps a bit too chatty! Have been before, some years ago, not disappointed this time. Inventive menu.

Good food nice decor and staff friendly. Just not as good as Sai Surbhi! Although we saw Brian from Corrie which added a certain something!!

Was disappointed we had not been allocated a window table as requested in my booking but when we made the staff aware of this we were given a a change of table to a window ( this helps with hearing when noise is not surrounding you) . The food was delicious and the staff friendly and courteous and our dining experience was excellent. Will return.

Excellent food and wonderful, attentive service. Perfect treatment of my allergy with my food cooked separately. Great value and more than enough. Always a pleasure to return.

The food was nice and the service was good. The house savignon blanc was particularly lovely. My only criticism was that our waiter decided to remove our napkins for some reason. In his defence, the restaurant was very busy!

Excellent service as always and top quality food. We would recommend to anybody who likes Indian/asian food. As regular visitors we have never experienced a less than perfect meal. As we had booked we were led straight to the table and never waited long for any body to come and see to us.

We had a table booked for 7 pm we had to wait on the bar for an hour. No one came and told us there was a delay or brought us a menu to look at. We were only seen to once I asked the bar staff how long the table was going to be. The matradee has no idea what she was doing had no idea we were waiting if we had had our order taken or not. There was no apology. Once in the restaurant there were at least 8 other tables of 5 or more people who were either waiting for food or hadn’t ordered yet at this point it was 8:15 pm and we hadn’t even placed our order. We then decided to leave. The food and service in the past has been excellent but this experience has put me off from returning. If you are busy then fine but communicate with your customers and at least offer them an apology.

This resteraunt is always excellent ,but this visit was exceptional the food was amazing the staff attentive but not in your face and good value as well,thanks to all for a great night you will be seeing us regularly in the new year.

Excellent food , excellent service considering it was Christmas Eve and extremely busy , would highly recommend and will be going again very soon !

lovely experience tonight, very friendly welcoming establishment. staff all very helpful. forgot a drink & a starter but they were very busy obviously lots of christmas parties etc going on so can be forgiven for this. food was incredible, only wish i could have managed more. a lovely dinner, thank you!

felt a bit rushed - they wanted us in and out. no time in between courses. there was a puddle of butter in the middle of the garlic nan - made it a bit soggy. an average experience

Very nice curry and good service! Even had a rendition of Happy Birthday as it was my daughters 16th birthday. It was a nice touch.

Excellent food, poor service. Two big groups in restaurant, waiters run off feet & as often happens two dining alone get neglected. Had to stop and ask passing waiters for starter, wine list, main course.

We have eaten many times at the Shajan and the food is always of the best quality and the flavours are amazing. I would wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

The king prawns were absolutely ginormous! loved the food and decor - one frustration was how long it took to get the bill, though they were very busy.

This restaurant has Excellent service and quality food, we would definitely go again. The meat was tender and spicy and the beer was cold. The garlic naan was Fantastic.

We were a table of four on the 27th Sept. It was a birthday meal,however we all thought the service was poor bordering on ignorant. The meal itself was ok but generally the experience was a disappointment after the reviews I had read. Sorry Shahan but we will not be returning.

A fantastic meal with hard working staff . We had a party of 8 that were all served quickly and efficiently A very good time had by all . Good value too
