The Shamraat gives great food and excellent service. It's a really friendly place. There is lots of choice on the menu and vegetarians are well catered for.

We had a lovely meal here. Food was fresh and delicious and the staff were helpful and friendly. Will definately be returning for many more meals here.

Great food and wonderful staff. An established family business that offers a great range of delicious food. I have been going there for over 10 years and have told them that the first time I get a bad meal will be the last time I go there. It hasn't happened yet

A great evening with great food. The staff were perfect with just the right amount of attention without being intrusive. They were also very patient as we were the last customers.

Staff very friendly, and the food is very tasty. Downside was the decor was a bit shabby and the hand drier in the toilet was broken. Overall good value for money.

The best Indian meal I ever had! Will definitely be going back...in the hope that they sort out their VERY slow service. Despite waiting over an hour for our food though it really was astonishingly good when it did arrive.

A really good experience - staff friendly and welcoming, very attentive and efficient, The atmosphere was cosy and comfortable, the restaurant was very clean. Food was excellent, tasty and reasonably priced.

Great friendly service and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone who loves traditional Western Indian food. Would be nice to have a lager on tap but there was a nice selection of bottled Indian and Asian beers.

Enjoyed the food but found it rather expensive. Staff are friendly and helpful and surroundings are pleasant, clean and tidy. Not a lot of food for the price though.

Glad we booked as it was busy. That's always a good sign that it's a good restaurant. Despite being busy, service was very good - need to have draught lager.

Food was great, service was slow but we were having thalis and there were 7 of us. The waiters were very good welcoming and friendly.

Brilliant Lovely food but booked wrong restaurant on line, booked Ormskirk instead of Southport Rang them to explain they were lovely Southport Shamraat was fantastic
