Our first dining out experience since January -one of our very favourite places. Lovely staff, super food, amazing value for money....So good to be back - and we shall return next week !

Had supper at Shipla before going to a show at The Lyric Hammersmith. The decor is quite simple, disposable paper table cloths etc, although the brightly coloured orange seats provide a cheerful welcome. More important though, the food is DELICIOUS. We ate Keralan Fish Curry and Brinjal Bhajee with steamed rice and paratha. Just perfect, spicy without being overpowering. A real find if you enjoy Southern Indian Food.

One more time the food was excellent and the service great!

It was a spur of the moment thing as we were going to the Apollo decor is bad very basic table clothes had stains on them the food that we had was good the older waiter didn’t really understand what we were saying bit pricey

Lovely restaurant with great food and welcoming, attentive staff. A little bit cold in the room but maybe this was because it was a Sunday and only one other table was occupied. Will definitely be coming back.

Excellent South Indian food, particularly seafood (prawn puri; scallops) though kingfish was rather chewy. Some unusual Vegetarian specialities such as various Thorans--all very good. Really thick Lassi, unusually good. Not much atmosphere but that's less important than the excellent food and fair prices.

One of our favourite dinner spot, and probably the best south Indian food this side of town, the decor has recently been refreshed, affordable prices, all in all a great evening.
