Shimla Pinks - Leicester

Shimla Pinks is a really nice restaurant. The staff are always friendly and I never think twice going to Shimla. The food is just as good as the service. A nice fine dining experience.

"We arrived at Shimla Pink 15 minutes prior to our reservation, we were immediately shown to our table and asked if we required drinks ? We were given plenty of time to go over the menu and make our selections with no interference from impatient staff. We were lucky enough to be seated close to a family group who were celebrating a '25th' birthday party, that made the atmosphere even better than it already was, and somehow even got a bit of cake from them, which made our night. The food, when it arrived, was the usual excellence we have come to expect from 'Shimla' We were allowed to enjoy our meal in a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere, which means it will soon be time for a return visit to this fantastic dining experience !!

Lovely place but didnt get what i ordered... wouldnt put me off going back .

Excellent menu choice. First class food expertly cooked and served. Attentive staff. Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely come again. Busy even early on a Saturday night. Suggest booking in advance

Our first vsit in several years but not our last. Food delicious. However the rowdy birthday party did dominate/ spoil the atmosphere. No fault of the management but maybe we need to avoid Saturday night.

Shimla Pinks is simply a fantastic restaurant. From the warm friendly welcome to the excellent range of gins to try. The staff are efficient and friendly. The food is simply sublime with a menu to suit every taste. It was well worth the 100 mile round trip and can't wait to so it all again. The staff wven presented my husband with a birthday cake complete with sparklers and candles they found out it was his birthday.

Food excellent. Waiting times in acceptable. Very disorganised. People were coming in after us and getting orders taken before us. It was very busy be all staff seemed to be working against each other. Usually get a goodbye when leaving but nothing.

Over priced, service tax of 5 pounds for a simple dinner for two people . In spite of requesting birthday cake for hubby , and reminded multiple times, forgotten by staff. I wouldn't want to visit again.

Amazing food and brilliant service . One of the best Indian meals for along time. Breads and lamb curries superb .Lovely to see lots of families eating out .

The most enjoyable Indian cuisine I have tasted for a while. The food really was was of the highest standard. Good service too on what was a really busy night. Superb atmosphere.

When we arrived for our reserved pre theatre dinner there was a notice on the door saying that the restaurant was closed for repair to a canopy and wouldn't open until Monday December 10th. Very disappointing especially on a rainy night.

Wonderful food- vegetarian sharing platter to start - highly recommended- but leave room for the main course! Generous delicious confidently spiced portions! And just as great when the doggy bag Dahl was reheated a day later😄

Great food and thoughtful service. The banquet meals offer lots of interesting combinations. Good for vegetarians. Lovely fresh baked thin naan breads. Must book ahead.

It was amazing 👌. First time there, was recommended by my friend. Hubby loved it, we are going back again. Service was superb, clean and amazing staff.

Great food. One couple were so drunk they could barely stand . They didn’t do very well at eating, pretty off putting. Nice to see Johnny Vegas though. Very loud .

Food was very good, however I asked for a chicken shashlik, which was on the starter menu, as a main and was told this wasn’t possible?!! I was encouraged have it as a starter instead, but that’s not what I wanted. Eventually the waiter agreed to check and the kitchen said yes, but then when it came, it came with rice and curry sauce which I’d said I absolutely didn’t want. On the front of the menu there is a quote that says “our customers to us are god” - I certainly didn’t get that feeling! As said though, the actual food quality was very good.

We thought we would try Shimla Pinks after hearing good reviews about it and we weren't disappointed. We had a fabulous meal with excellent service. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Shimla Pinks. Great food, excellent service and pleasant atmosphere. Our sizzling tandoori starter was out of this world. We’ll definitely be back.

Starters were excellent but the two curries we had for mains (Jalfrezi & Chilli-Garlic) were very bland and were not as spicy as they should have been despite being shown with two and three chilies respectively. Service was very good.

We had a fantastic pre show meal and wine. The service and food were both excellent, staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us

Good service good food what more do you want the place is nice and clean the staff are well presented and serve you with a smile all in all a good night had by all.

Food taste was good and hotel was nice The waiters were busy not giving proper response but then a lady came and served us with a lovely smile Love to visit again

Food good, service good, atmosphere good, what’s not to like ?

Food was good but a bit expensive even when they put a 10% service charge on top of the bill which’s makes it even more expensive , my partner said the ladies toilets was filthy . Proberly not go back again as this was only 7-15

Shimla Pinks has excellent food; there was a very good range. Good vegetarian choices and a wide variety of dishes. Excellent and friendly staff and service! Would recommend!

Food was fantastic customer service on point 100% over all experience fab I would definitely recommend Shimla pinks and most definitely returning to in the very near future
