Great food! Good choices. Great service! Cosy environment. Would definitely go back. Everyone in our party would go back. Reasonably priced as well. Well done!

Really enjoyed it here did not have to wait long for food and was very impressed with the meal and the staff were friendly too

It was quite chilly in the restaurant, with the occasional short blast of heat. We hadn’t been to Shorties for about 18 months and expected a few changes eg price, menu, I was disappointed with the salad that which was included with my steak, wish I’d known it contained most things I don’t like in a salad (peppers, cucumber,onion) and I would of asked if I could change it for something else. Apart from that the meal was very nice and we will be returning.

Considering that there was an electrical fault, the staff were amazing and the chef cooked by candlelight our meals were absolutely beautiful. The steak was the tenderest I have eaten in a long time. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Very shabby inside, tape still on windows where they had been painted very poorly. There was also a huge draft where the window wasn't fitted properly. The steak was very nice and tender, everything else tasted cheap and shop bought. It's a shame because it used to be great.

Fabulous food and service we go every time we go to Portsmouth going again next month with the family for my birthday looking forward to a stesk
