Always love a S&L day for cocktails with friends. Great menu for snacking when you feel a bit peckish. Ordering drinks and food on the app to your table is a great idea.

had the pie and mash, standard pub food but located in george st it is convenient and you know what you are getting. evenings it gets busier so best time is mid afternoon. nice varied menu

The waitress was the only person saving this from being a dreadful review...she was so lovely ( WISH I HAD ASKED HER NAME)....anyway, tables were sticky, menus even more sticky!!! One of our party ordered a burger without cheese..came with it, was taken back to kitchen, only for them to bring the same one back ( if your going to just lift the cheese off, try not leave any of it on the burger?)... food for the price not alot of it, but it was ok. Too much competition in Edinburgh for me to return, would rather eat elsewhere...oh, & there were no liquid soap in the toilets...says it all really....
