Spice Route - Indian Cuisine is a sublime little restaurant based in Portsmouth’s Southsea, nestled on Palmerston Road within walking distance of Southsea Seafront and Southsea shopping precinct. Spice Route brings you authentic dishes from Bangladesh and the Indian subcontinent, courtesy of a chef with over 10 years experience creating new and innovative dishes. Choose something from the tandoor, some seafood, or some Spice Route specials. The kala bhuna is a popular beef curry, while the chicken jhal tikka is as fiery as they come. Of course there are all the classics to consider, too, as well as a selection of curious vegetarian dishes that go far beyond the norm. Spice Route Indian Cuisine has an unlicensed bar, however, but with a BYO policy diners are welcome to bring their own beer or wine. And there’s no corkage fee!
