Staff friendly, helpful, happy and bubbly, food amazing and very clean

This was our 1st visit what can I say we chose to dine in one of the outside pods absolutely amazing, we travel regularly from Birmingham to the area as we take our dog to the vets located on the same road, seen the pub before and decided once lockdown over we would visit. Food absolutely amazing I chose Fish and Chips my husband had Beef and Ale Pie, absolutely beautiful, portions were plentiful and excellently priced, staff were amazing and food served promptly and freshly cooke. Highly recommended and can’t wait to eat there again.

Dined here on a beautiful, sunny afternoon with friends and was fortunate enough to be able to stay most the afternoon by moving seats from one of your Pods to the garden area. Staff were extremely accommodating and we were able to enjoy a lovely catch up and the lovely drinks of Gin you had available. We will definitely be back!

Have had many enjoyable meals here and can not thank the staff enough for the friendly and fantastic service they give whenever I have visited. Nothing is never to much trouble. Also the outside Pods are brilliant!!

Food was excellent and service was OK. The young girl did her best, bless her, but she did rather abandon us once we'd got our food.

Although the pods were closed due to bad weather it didn't put a damper on the evening. The pub and the food were great, and the service was amazing

Booked online for a heated pod specifically for my elderly parents and when we arrived it was not reserved. We travelled all the way from Hinckley and ended up sitting under an umbrella in the rain and cold. We were provided with blankets which did help. The service was very friendly and courteous but it did take 1 hour to receive our food and we had to prompt for orders to be taken. The food was nice and tasty and lovely and hot, also good value for money. We enjoyed our visit but will not be returning as we were so disappointed with the reservation system and delayed service.

This is the 2nd time we have been here. I absolutely love it here. The staff are brilliant and the food is so tasty. Nothing is ever to much trouble. Bex our waitresses we have had on both times. She is amazing.so down to earth and friendly. Everything was perfect. Deffo be back .

We picked a rainy day to visit the Stamford Arms! Turned out to be the best decision, their heated pods were wonderfully dry, warm and comfy! The food was fantastic and service was excellent! Will definitely be visiting again!
