I can rave about the Sunday roast all day. Lovely pub, great food, good selection of beers and outdoor play area is a big hit with my little one.

Great food, great service! Felt really welcome at the pub. The staff were so nice, we ordered a lot and they were going back and forth for us! Took my friends from London they really enjoyed.

Very friendly local pub with a good atmosphere. Restaurant was very busy so probably best to book in advance. The food was good and the service from the staff was excellent.

good service but food so-so.fish pie just a large fishcake without the breadcrumbs.veg poor. steak and ale pie pastry was hard. not as good as last few visits.excellent beers though!

Great food and good service. All cooked beautifully. Ate early as we had the children. Wasn’t made to rush to make way for other people.

Always good food. Quick service with the nicest of staff. Generally more expensive than a standard pub, but they always have good specials on the menu

First time for me, great friendly service with a smile, food lovely and fresh. Good value for money. Would definitely recommend. Very relaxing and chilled evening.

The waitress got the order wrong so we couldn’t all eat together. She was very sorry & knocked money off the bill but it did spoil things.

Great menu choice and excellent quality food. The steak pie and fish and chips were both perfect with the very light batter on the fried fish being almost fat free. Will definitely return.

Nothing was too much trouble. Very helpful and attentive waitress. Cook was excellent and made something specially from a previous menu. Delicious Pizze and puddings

The service was awful, waiting 20-30mins between courses and to pay the bill, really disappointed. I would eat there more often with it being local but last few visits it’s not been great

Great food, good atmosphere and very good value, together with meeting old friends and neighbours, made it a great night. Looking forward to the next visit.

We had an excellent Valentines night. The food was excellent, service excellent, and atmosphere was very relaxing and enjoyable. We moved into the pub after our dinner and had a fantastic time listening to the entertainment. Highly recommend.

Went with friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will hopefully going again as they had not been before but would like to go again.

Food was lovely and the atmosphere was lively. We did ask for a couple of things which the waitress said wouldn't be a problem, but the kitchen refused to accommodate us which was a shame. Also, we were asked to vacate our table as soon as we finished our meal as they had people waiting. With the bar being crammed it meant we had to leave and drew our 'catch up' with distant relatives to a premature close, which was upsetting and spoilt the evening.

The staff were very good, keeping us informed of slight delay owing to large party before us. Food was very good. Enjoyable visit as always.

When we arrived the table was tight for 6 but they gladly moved us to a more roomy table, it was my daughters 14th birthday and they happily arranged for a cake to be brought through after a lovely meal

Service good, food good, just the toilet in restaurant let’s it down, never seen such dirty place skirting boards so bad floor needs bit Lino , rusty towel dispenser that isn’t being used, needs to be take away! one hour cleaning on hands and knees wouldn’t cost the earth Just makes me wonder if the kitchen is like it

Went for Sunday lunch and the Roast was amazing. Quick service and friendly staff. Very reasonably priced and big portions. Very pleased with the experience.

The service at the bar was quite slow, but the food and service in the restaurant was good and we felt welcome even though we arrived early, our table was ready within minutes of arrival.

Great food, friendly staff and good service. The atmosphere was lively around the bar but respectful of the fact that there were families dining in the restaurant area.

Great atmosphere and fantastic food! Will be going again very soon! Staff were lovely and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The pirate ship kept the children happy too.
