there was a bone I nearly choked on in my chicken curry. Lighting too dim can't see what you are eating and the perfume they have in the air con wasn't good on my chest

Very tasty food although a little more expensive than other Indian restaurants in Liverpool. But that was mainly for the drinks. Good choice of veg, meat and fish starters and mains.

I found the food lovely. It came very quick. My one complaint was the waiter was very rude and this was due to the fact we had booked a table at a later time.

We ate off the early bird menu with a coupe of additional sides, food was great although my main was a litle on the salty side. Excellent atmosphere and decor, just like a traditional Indian. Service was faultless and prices reasonable.

Excellent food and very good value. A group of 6 of us had an early bird meal and were made very welcome. Generous food portions, super friendly staff, who went out of their way to make us feel at home and give outstanding service. We will certainly return if we visit Liverpool again. Would highly recommend this restaurant,

Always enjoy a Indian meal at the Sultan's Palace. Food is good and served hot. The only downside can be the atmosphere as it is a large restaurant and can feel a bit empty at times

Beautiful setting. Food was good but not what you'd expect for the price. Service was disappointing - initially friendly but the staff lost interest and by the time we came to order coffee we had to go to the bar where the staff were all hanging around and felt like we were disturbing them. Coffee was dreadful.

The place is nice and easy on the eye, the waitress that day was very efficient, however the phal dish I had was no hotter than a rogan josh. I was very disappointed, and with the price. £40 per head with no alcohol, we won't be going back.

went to sultans palace with a supplier for a quick bite after work. service was courteous, prompt and very attentative. the food arrived promptly and was thoroughly enjoyable - the madras not too hot so as to mask the flavour, the naan soft and freshly baked, and stuffed with keema lamb. the starter, the tandoori mixed grill, was mouthwateringly delicious. the only weak point for me was having to rush home. a very enjoyable experience and some great tasting food, which catered well to my vegetarian colleagues pallet. one, if not, THE best curry house i've sampled in Liverpool city centre.
