Sultan's Palace is always amazing. High quality food with great flavours. The restaurant is a hidden gem and the decor is wonderful and really adds the the experience. Highly recommended
Staff very friendly. Portion size was average. Cater well for vegetarians. Quite expensive, not very good value for money. We went on Valentines day and was not very busy.
Excellent food and service! I would highly recommend this place and very tasty dishes indeed. Would recommend the early bird for good value too! Thanks!
Lovely food In great surrounding. The service was spot on with friendly staff who looked after us well. It's definitely up there with the best we've had and will definitely be returning the next time we're in Liverpool.
Lovely meal, very friendly staff and reasonably priced. We would recommend to locals or visitors to Liverpool, also found it very easy to book on line
Excellent quality food. Lunch and evening menu both also excellent value for money. I highly recomend a visit and the service is up there with the best. I will be back there soon.
Very quiet as only just opened for the evening. Staff attentive, food fabulous. Only negative was a customer playing a video on his phone constantly!
Food really good quality, big portion sizes so next time I would share one rice + naan. Expensive but you get what you pay for.
We were in Liverpool for a few days. This restaurant was highly recommend and we were not disappointed. The servers friendly, the wine superb and the food second to non. As a vegan it was good to find a good place to eat. This was great
The restaurant was absolutely great. Went their for a date night with my gf and the service and the food was excellent. I will definitely recommend the place to anyone.
Me ans my gf went there for our first date night and the food was excellent great customer service. Would definitely recommend the place. Really good restaurant.
excellent food and staff one of the tastiest meal I have had , lovely surroundings and very clean ,waitress and waiters also very helpful lovely resteraunt
The place is nice and easy on the eye, the waitress that day was very efficient, however the phal dish I had was no hotter than a rogan josh. I was very disappointed, and with the price. £40 per head with no alcohol, we won't be going back.
Lovely food. Highly recommend the chicken starters and lamb rice. Great ambience, music and decor throughout. Quick service and friendly staff. Good wine selection also
Great food as always and staff who look after you but are not over attentive. Took some friends for the first time and they were very impressed.
Excellent and tasty food. Polite ,helpful and friendly staff. Would deffo try again on any return trip to Liverpool. Couple of Midlanders on a celebratry weekend away.
Been before but quite a few years ago. Decided to try again and me and my girlfriend who both love Indian food both decided it was the best we've ever had
Our first visit but not disappointed - dining room decorated in Indian style created great ambiance and food was delicious and lots of choice on menu. We all enjoyed the meal as family celebration. Our age range from 36 to 75.
Excellent food .excellent service .excellent all round restaurant . Give it a try one of the best Indian restaurants we have ever been to great night out.
went to sultans palace with a supplier for a quick bite after work. service was courteous, prompt and very attentative. the food arrived promptly and was thoroughly enjoyable - the madras not too hot so as to mask the flavour, the naan soft and freshly baked, and stuffed with keema lamb. the starter, the tandoori mixed grill, was mouthwateringly delicious. the only weak point for me was having to rush home. a very enjoyable experience and some great tasting food, which catered well to my vegetarian colleagues pallet. one, if not, THE best curry house i've sampled in Liverpool city centre.
Chose the earlybird menu, very good value for money and good choice of options including a drink of your choice.Excellent food and excellent service with very friendly staff.
Excellent food and service in beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed a delicious meal for 8, pre booked as we had a theatre deadline to meet, and the food was all ready as planned. Staff were lovely and early bird menu was excellent value.
For my first visit to this restaurant , I am particularly pleased with the service , choice and quality of food offered by the friendly and courteous staff. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who love Indian cuisine. The choice is very varied . Thank you
FANTASTIC MEAL. BRILLIANT SERVICE. NOT THAT DEAR. VERY RESONABLE. DEFINATLEY GO AGAIN. THE STAFF WHERE VERY POLITE AND WELL SPOKEN. FANTASTIC VENUE FOR COUPLES AND PARTIES. SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. BEST INDIAN I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. AND I HAVE BEEN TO A LOT.
Partner had lamb rogan josh and was vommiting all night... Such a disappointment as we have been going to the restaurant for many years.. It ruined our new year.
Really lovely restaurant. The way the tables are set up is great. Service was fantastic as was the food.. we were in time for the early bird menu which was great and enough choice
Great food, great atmosphere. Decor is fantastic and reasonably priced
Amazing place, indeed will visit again. Recommended to every one who like quite places with delicios food. The staff is kindly Wish all the best!
Nice meal clean and pleasant surroundings, beer a bit expensive but recommend it to anyone, food was very tasty. Nice family restaurant and food service
Service and food amazing ! My all time favourite restaurant - very welcoming - can't do enough for you - delivery service also fantastic - South Indian garlic prawn delicious - brilliant
Food was great. Even though it was not busy at all, we had to ask the waiter a few times to give us the bill and overall we waited over 30 min to pay. We asked other waiter for the bill.
The restaurant is easy to get to by public transport from Wirral. It is near the bus station, has a bus stop outside and the nearest train stations are Moorfields and Central Station. It is situated close to the tunnel if you wanted to drive. It is within walking distance from pubs and bars if you wanted to go out after the meal. The food and portion sizes were good. The only downside was the price and the set banquets looked reasonable but didn't seem to be worth the price when we asked more about them. This is reflected in the above score. We would go again.
Great restaurant, lots of choice on the menu, the service was top class and the food was spectacular. Will certainly be visiting here again soon.
Very special gem hidden in Liverpool food excellent and service. Only chritisisum was the restaurant was a bit cold. Would have benefitted from a bit of warmth heat I mean.
Good decor and ambience with a good range of authentic dishes to try . Loved the choice of main dishes available will definitely go again
We've been to Sultan's Palace a few times and have always enjoyed it. This time we shared the fish amritsari starter which was really good. I had the Rara Gosht Punjabi which was an interesting mix of diced lamb and minced lamb - something a bit different and very enjoyable. My girlfriend had the Lamb Rogan Josh which was nice as well.
I regularly visit Sultans Palace, usually at lunch time, The quality for the food for the cost especially from lunchtime offer menu is fantastic. Lovely décor, great speedy service and well worth a visit.
Lovely staff, nice but unobtrusive music, great food, pleasant decor. A more upmarket experience for the discerning diner, excellent seating in cosy booths or larger tables for parties, not the usual regimented feel to it.
