Great service, excellent food even after what was clearly a very busy day. We’ll be back.

Best Caesar salad I have ever had- extremely tasty- included capers and anchovies as well as delicious chicken. Would have liked some more lettuce (how often do you say that?!!) My husband enjoyed his gluten free gammon too. We arrived earlier than booked but were cheerfully accommodated. A bit pricey but I prefer to pay more for a decent meal . Would go again.

Top food and venue. Nowhere better in east Cheshire. James is 5he best host.

Four of us went for Sunday lunch. We all had different main courses and puddings and everyone was thrilled with their choices. Staff were lovely and, although the pub was busy the atmosphere was just nice for having a meal and catch up with friends. Highly recommend.

Very disappointed to find that meal booked for 6.30pm on the Sunday meant that no choice of sweets were available "because the restaurant was closed on Monday". We were only offered ice creams for desert.

Lovely place, absolutely gorgeous food. My only negative comment is the use of plastic straws. Straws are not necessary for the majority of soft drinks but if a customer really, really needs one then, for the planets sake, please stock paper ,not plastic.

Great service, lovely clean pub with a good range of beers and a nice relaxed atmosphere. The meal was cooked really well and the ingredients were of a high standard.

The food was just fantastic! Great menu, can't wait to go back and try something else. The only very small negative was we felt a bit pressured to order. We had to get the kids menu choices sorted first then we could look for ourselves. However we will be back :-)
