Very friendly and efficient service. Loved the chicken pastilla starter, which was a good size. The chicken and olive tagine was delicious. I don't normally like couscous as I find it rather bland, but the one served here was full of flavour. A great experience!

First time at this restaurant and I would definitely go back. The customer service was great and the chef even came out to welcome us. Food was hot. They even surprised the birthday girl with complementary cake and birthday song. Only issue, the venue was cold.

Really lovely food, and attentive staff. Beautiful interior decoration, too! We really enjoyed having our 3rd anniversary at Tangia :-) Nicely located a short walk from Tooting Broadway.

Went with 5 friends; really buzzy atmosphere; we all enjoyed the food immensely and the staff were extremely attentive. A really good girls night out for less than £26 including wine!

I have been here several times with friends and have always rated it very highly. Yesterday I went with my family and my experience was different. The waitresses that served me were good and no issues there. Every time previously I have gone the owner comes and talks to his customers and you really feel the personal touch that is important in a small restaurant. This time he didn't even though we we're only two tables there. The slow cooked lamb tagine that I ordered was not soft like it has been on previous occasions. Whilst still good food, no ambience or music. I guess I'm more disappointed because I know what a great place it usually is.

Very nice Maroccan food. We had the Lamb Fillet Tangine. Finally a chef who knows how to prepare lamb as it should, very tasty. Service is quick and friendly. Prices are very fair. The place is located around 6 minutes from Tooting Broadway tube station, just outside the busy part of Mitcham road. One advice, skip the boaring piano music, adding some more suitable music will elevate the atmosphere. I can recommand a visit here!

Fine presentation of starters. Exquisite lamb tagines (both fillet & slow cooked shank versions), the meat was very tender. Main also was kept wonderfully hot.

Excellent as usual. Lovely food beautifully cooked and well served at a reasonable price. The chef is welcoming and very professional. I have seen the kitchen and it is spotlessly clean. One of my favourite restaurants.

A very authentic Morrocan experience with cooking by an experienced Morrocan chef. The Lamb Shank or Duck Breast Tagines are wonderful. Service staff are all pleasant and friendly.

delightful staff; delicious tagines; interesting Moroccan wines; haloumi tart dispppointing and acoustics made the chatter of enjoyment quite harsh, but overall a great evening out.

It was OK, but I was very underwhelmed as I was expecting an amazing meal after seeing it was rated in the top 10 restaurants in London! They hand you a trip advisor card at the end of your meal so I think this is why!

Lovely restaurant in the heart of Tooting. Beautiful food, amazing service, lovely atmosphere. Tangia is a fairly small restaurant but it's authentic and I would recommend to anyone. The chef and owner came out after we'd eaten and introduced himself, such a nice touch!

We had a very pleasant evening here. The restaurant is comfortable, pretty and relaxed. Our orders were taken quickly and we didn't have to wait long for anything. We went on a Tuesday evening and while the place was half full, I like that I don't have to raise my voice when talking with friends. We enjoyed the food very much and we also met the owner and his wife - very nice people.

The main aspect which made the evening was the owner (chef) made great effort to come out of the kitchen and made us feel very welcome. I had the duck which was nice, lovely salad along with a very good service. This is a hidden gem in Tooting. Meal for two with a very tasteful cocktail & a glass of wine less than £50....

We dined here for the first time last Friday January 13th. The owner also the chef and all the staff were so accommodating and friendly and the overall service was excellent. Most of us ordered tagine (chicken, seafood, and land shank) for our mains and it was delicious and we were all happy however we were let down on the desserts and we were very disappointed with the mediterranean fruit with lemon sorbet containing 2 of each wafer thin slices of orange, kiwi and melon with sweet lemon sorbet in the middle and the frozen fruit of the forest on tulle basket both for £5.50.
