Tapasaya id quite simply one of the best Indian cuisine restaurants in the UK. The marina restaurant is another great place to go. Well done Hull.

Really enjoyed the visit, atmosphere was lively and the place was full, however that didn't affect the service which was good. The food was excellent.

the food was fabulous and the staff were attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant as a whole was tastefully decorated, only negative I can mention is that the tables in certain areas are a little close. But a minor complaint really as the whole experience of the fabulous food outshone everything. What more could you want fantastic food and great service?

The Tapysa Marina restaurant on Hull Marina has recently opened, and only had a few people in on the Sunday evening we visited. But it was well worth the visit, the food was excellent and different - indian food with an added twist, service very efficient and house wine (white) very good. The decor inside the restaurant is first class, although the upstairs is not quite ready yet. This restaurant is going to be very popular once people find out it is open for business.

Lovely food & setting, just a shame we didn't get asked if we would like any more drinks (glasses empty during main course) then we got asked to leave our table & move to the bar area with no mention of dessert/coffee.

Poor service, waited over 20 mins for drinks and had to then ask for food menu which took ages to come. Good was average, we sent one main back

Good food and great service. Must be the best Indian restaurant in Hull. Would have got top marks if I could have tasted the Horlicks in the ice cream!

Wasn't as I expected. Food was ok but have had better. Staff where buzzing around us all the time because it was empty and tried to take my starter before I had finished.

Saturday Lunch. Set menu with small choice but Food was very good with a mix of mild to medium spices and all served In a tray together to make it an interesting experience. The service was a little stretched but would definitely recommend a visit

Modern take on Indian Food. Good Hull Marina location. Restaurant was a bit 'cold' when we first arrived we did have an early reservation before a performance at Fruit. As place was not full you could hear load conversations from other tables. Food was quite pricey. Starter for £8 (one piece of paneer, one cauliflower floret and one broccoli floret ) was not good value. Naan bread was not very big and lamb dish had a very watery flavourless sauce. Butter chicken was just OK. Both dishes had good quality meat. Not sure given our experience we would return. We wanted a flavoursome Indian meal but had something less than we expected.

Lovely place, attentive staff and good food. Had the dinner time set menu which gives you a try of a few dishes of the main menu. Defo going back on an evening.

The food was superb and the service excellent. unfortunately they have some heating issues. It was cold and draughty. They did provide us with a fan heater though and were very apologetic. Don't miss out on the food, wrap up warm :)

Excellent venue, food and service. Highly recommended. The sea bass was so subtly flavored and delicious and the dal was an inspired accompaniment. I recommend anybody to try. Price wasn't too bad either.

Food was excellent .. wine was excellent. Need to look at the gluten free offering which my wife found a tad disappointing and badly explained. But overall a very enjoyable evening in a restaurant that has been fitted out to a high standard, with chefs who clearly know what they are doing.

Relatively newly opened sister to the successful Tapayas Restaurant on Beverley Road in Hull, in an excellent setting alongside the Hull Marina to be enjoyed through floor to (very high) ceiling windows. In common with Beverley Road, the Tapayas menu features a novel twist on the usual Indian fare and food is prepared to an exceptionally high standard which is reflected in the price. Service at our visit (early on a Friday evening) was extremely courteous and attentive with staff exhibiting good knowledge of the menu and well qualified to answer questions. Superb food and good range of wines and beers. Recommended.

What a lovely restaurant. You can tell it has had a lot of money invested in to it to make it stunning and a great place to eat. And the food matches the decor. Gorgeous

The restaurant is lovely, we ordered the set lunch. When it arrived, it all comes together in individual dishes on a tin tray. I had to get the managers attention and return my meal as the Bombay potatoes, and the chicken curry were Luke warm. My tray, complete with my fork in the rice was taken away. The same teY, complete with my fork in the rice was returned, with the two dishes now at the right temperature. The restaurant was not busy, so I would have expected a better service. The food was very nice. A friend asked would I go back, I don't think I would.

Absolutely brilliant. Delicious food, impeccable service, very attentive and helpful. The restaurant is very clean and a beautiful modern place with a good atmosphere. It is pricey but you really do get what you pay for. Even the toilets were great.

Excellent quality food and a very interesting menu. Quite pricey but worth it for a special dining experience. Not all dishes come with rice or vegetables so take a look at the side dishes too. Service and timing of courses perfect.

Excellent food and excellent service. It is what might be called posh Indian but there was no pretence. This is my simple view in 26 words.

Lovely restaurant, great service with attentive but unobtrusive staff. We were a party of four and had the Surprise Menu which was 6 courses of food that we possibly wouldn't have ordered, each course was delicious and beautifully presented. Highly recommended if you like Indian food but are wanting something a bit more 'special', other diners food also looked excellent and we will be returning for a lunch or maybe a meal from the a la carte menu

Another great meal experience. Be prepared - this is not your normal Indian restaurant or takeaway food - surroundings and staff wonderful with great location beside the Marina.
