Our first visit to the new Tapasya on the Marina and we were not disappointed. We had visited their restaurant on Beverley Road on several occasions and the quality of the food has remained excellent. The new surroundings have been well thought through and this certainly adds to the experience.

Fantastic food in a lovely setting. The tiger prawns in particular were very well done. I wasn't a fan of the wine from India that we had but of course that was our selection

The Restaurant is very impressive to look at but on Saturday night all tables were in use and the staff struggled to cope. There were numerous ordering issues / mistakes and we had to wait for the rice side orders for our main meal for over 15 minutes after our main dish was served. We had to remind staff 3 times that we had ordered coffee and the gin & tonic didn't have any gin! The food was good but it is a limited menu and the overall experience was not up to scratch, there too many diners for the number of staff serving. This was our second visit and I wouldn't go again.

We received a warm welcome on arrival. Staff were very polite, knowledgable about wines/food and were attentive throughout the evening. It was refreshing to have a five star service and I am sure if I had ordered a desert they would have given me a fork with the spoon to eat it with as so many places seem to have forgotten this etiquette! Food was excellent, and there wasn't a long wait between courses. Hygiene seemed to be a high priority too. There was great atmosphere, would definitely go again

2 taxis booked by restaurant did not arrive. They need to improve this service if they are still to offer it and perhaps need a contract with one taxi firm.

Fantastic food and great venue. Will be going again for sure. Had a table booked for 8:00 and was left standing at the reception desk for 10 minutes. This was the only negative we have to say. Staff were friendly and knowledgable.

Reasonably priced curry with a bit of a difference. Excellent food and great décor, overlooking a fantastic marina. Locally brewed beer. Lovely chocolate fondant desert with a twist.

While the upstairs to the restaurant wasn't finished (which is why I only gave it a five and not a six - very picky I know), the downstairs decor did not disappoint. It was a lovely, friendly setting for what turned out to be an unbelievable Indian dining experience. I'll be honest; I wasn't overly impressed with the menu in terms of choice - and maybe that says more about me than the menu. However, I decided to try something new and put myself out of my own comfort zone. I chose the crab starter and the sea bass for my main - as a rule I do not like fish. All I can say is WOW - Taste explosion! I love Indian food, but this place, seriously, this food was a different level. Even their own Indian IPA was very tasty. My partner and I both had a starter, a main, naan breads and a side of paneer...along with two drinks, a bottle of water and coffees it came to just over £66 which we both felt was exceptional value for taste. I've been to the Beverley Road venue and now the Marina venue and I would recommend them both to anyone. We will definitely return.

Really nice atmosphere and service. The restaurant has been done out lovely. Had a table on the upper balcony floor looking out over the marina. Very nice. Food was delicious. Would say if you don't like hot spicy food you should ask what heat the dishes are as there is no reference on the menu as to the heat of dishes and both out dishes were spicy. Some people may not have liked the heat. Food was so tasty. Partner had the pork vinderloo and although it was spicy it wasn't hot for the sake of it. It had so much flavour, as did the other dishes we tried. Will definitely be going again.

The food was very good as was the service and atmosphere. Only down side was the ambient temperature which was a little too cool for us. Would definitely recommended and visit again.

Quality of the food was exceptional. Our waiter was very attentive and informative regarding the menu, incredients etc and he was an asset to the restaurant. We are planning to make a return visit shortly. Might be an idea to look at the size of font on the menu as it was difficult to read being so small (maybe my age!)

The venue itself is stunning - really well decorated and nice atmosphere. The staff are helpful and the food was delicious. The only downside is portion size and not a huge menu to choose from!

Having enjoyed an excellent evening meal at the Beverley Road Tapasya, we thought we would try lunch at the Marina restaurant. We were not disappointed. There is a set lunch for just under £10 which is incredible value for money. It comprises what is essentially an Indian tapas. It was delicious and plenty to eat for lunch. The setting is great and the restaurant interior is smart, contemporary and very comfortable. I'll definitely be going back to repeat what was a very enjoyable dining experience.

Fist visit to this new place on the Marina and was generally very impressed with it. Food was really good and service was also good, although has a bit less of a personal touch than the smaller restaurant on Beverley road.

First visit to Tapasya and was pleasantly surprised. Gorgeous location, lovely interior and a fab atmosphere. Food was fantastic with attentive staff. It's not Indian food in the traditional sense but a blend of English and Indian cuisines with a twist. Highly recommend.

The food was brilliant can't fault the place great choice of drinks as well fantastic service the only downside I would say about this place is more choice is needed on the main menu but don't let that put you off its a must visit restaurant and I would most certainly go again

The food was great but the service was pretty bad. After 40 minutes we had to ask to order and when we asked what the difference between the 2 rice options was the waitress said one was brown!

Amazing food and service. The only reason I'm not scoring a 5 is because we kept getting a cold blast of air from a vent above.

Very poor service. Took over 2.5 hours for 2 courses. Food arrived at different ties and was cold. However, the taste was good. Will go back for another try, but not for a long time!

Ambient atmosphere and attentive staff. We had high tea with a glass of champagne apiece. There are a good choice of teas available, some at additional modest cost but with masala included. Relaxed and unhurried. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely decor & amazing food, bottles aren't kept at your table which is fine but staff need to keep on top of refilling. Will definitely revisit.

The food was good and the decor was fantastic... but it was like eating in an ice box. I told the manager who said all "all these old buildings are hard to heat at this time of year". That is not true as the place next door is always fine. Other people were also complaining about the temperature. Having spent all the money on refurbishment I really cannot see that there is an excuse for not getting the heating right.

Fantastic food and service in a great location overlooking the marina. The lamb and crab dishes we shared were fresh and tasty. Although a bit more expensive than your usual curry house, the premium is worth it for the quality of the food and service received.

Small but varied menu compared with your usual Indian restaurant. Very good food. The Chocolate desert was outstanding. Service was attentive and friendly. Not as cheap as you'd expect from an Indian but the establishment is classy and still very good value for money.

On arrival we stood for over 10 minutes before someone spoke to us despite staff being stood in the bar area we asked if we could have a drink prior to being seated and waited 45 minutes for the drinks to arrive. Once seated the gentleman on the next tables drink was spilled over him x2, the second spilt drink landed in our food The food & restaurant where wonderful, but was totally let down by the service

Young staff who were eager to please and friendly- even if a little inexperienced. Food delicious. Only disappointment was that the naan breads didn't arrive.
