Tapeo Cafe & Tapas

Really yummy tapas with attentive staff and a good atmosphere. It was hard not to over order as we wanted lots of the dishes. Will definitely go again.

The dishes lacked seasoning & we had to chase for remaining dishes. There are much better Tapas restaurants out there, only one of the several dishes we ordered was good & I wouldn't return.

On our first visit the food was amazing (menu refresh / new chef???). This time around not quite as good. Service remains superb. I would definitely go again.

A beutifully decorated place. Excellent service and knowledge of dishes and how many we would require. The food was tasty and well cooked and well presented. Wines reasonably priced and friendly staff. Overall a very pleasurable evening.

We visited Tapeo on a Friday night. It was busy, food was great and the staff were friendly and tentative. Would definitely visit this restaurant again.

Best restaurant in Beckenham! Great tapas and great wine selection. Highly recommend! Traditional music also good on weekends and don't leave without having the pork belly!

A brilliant addition to Beckenham. Fantastic food and attentive service. Highly recommend the croquettes and the pork belly. During the day it is also very child friendly.

Food was lovely although comes out at different times not all together. The atmosphere nice and relaxing. Staff all very helpful. I recommend the classic sangria! Will return very soon.

Excellent food, great service. Authentic dishes, well presented. This is seriously good Spanish food. The ambience is excellent, we felt we were in Madrid, Barcelona or San Sebastian.

The food was fine and the wine was nice. The service was friendly and efficient. Thankfully they didn't charge us for the truly awful cocktails! Stick to the wine!

We have known this restaurant pretty much since it opened. Both food and service are usually exquisite. Whilst the food is still good, for the first time, we found that something was n't quite the same. I wonder if they have had some changes with kitchen staff. Some of the dishes ordered did not have the same edge as they normally do Presentation and portion size of the black ink risotto, octopus and paths bravas in particular. Do not get me wrong, this is this worth a visit but owners must not let the standards slip.

Really enjoyed my first visit. Staff excellent, friendly and helpful. Food excellent - and ambience fantastic. No real surprises on the menu which cost one rating point but evrything experienced has encouraged me to go back. I look forward to it!

Amazing little restaurant would definitely recommend it. Food was sensational and probably the best tapas I've had in south east London. Staff were very attentive without being overbearing great night out

Friendly staff, lovely food and drink. Good service food came out very quickly. Did take awhile for staff to ask if we wanted another drink after finishing ours but other than that really nice place and will be definitely returning. Thanks.

Had a lovely evening at Tapeo, the food is always amazing and the wine list is good. It's often busy so we booked, it would have been nice to have a normal table (not the tall table with the bar stools) but overall good experience.

Absolutely fantastic! Amazing food, delicious wine (Goru 2014) and great service. Dinner for 2 with coffees and desert can you under £80. Can't wait to return

Excellent food, the squid ink risotto was amazing along with the black pudding, in fact everything we ate in this restaurant was, in my opinion the best tapas I've eaten.

Really nice little place, all the dishes were executed well and the menu is well ranged. Service was great, attentive when necessary without being overbearing. Really enjoyed our meal.

Consistently good food and great service. It's a step above a standard tapas bar with tratitional tapas and Spanish staples, many with a modern twist. I particularly recommend the pulpo frito which is so tender and their tortilla espanola is freshly made and also delicious. Their take on an ajo blanco is also delicious. The staff are very friendly and are very tolerant of our 14 month old who is very messy!

Beautiful food. Every dish perfect, friendly unobtrusive service. Buzzy Friday evening. A varied menu. Some 'tapas' restaurants serve greasy, tasteless plates but not here. Would highly recommend.

At Tapeo, you can always expect great service, superb food, lovely ambiance, and a warm welcome. Their dishes are authentic and very tasty, they've got excellent wines, and dining there is always a super-fun experience!

Great service with a fun vibe and very good tapas....especially the bacalao! I would recommend for a dinner for two or a great office night out.

Good was lovely but 1 dish that took longer to cook arrived once we'd finished. They should have planned the other food to come at the same time. Wouldn't stop me returning, I just wouldn't order the tortilla again

Helpful staff and delicious food. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and were on time for the two-for-one offer which made it very good value too.

Good food. Nice surroundings. Staff a little over zealous was asked 3 times if food all right and twice if we wanted dessert. I personally don't like my conversations interrupted that much.

Fantastic food service and atmosphere, the food is so good it borders on a tasting menu rather than a Tapas bar! Highly recommended! Will be going again.

Very nice restaurant. I am gluten free & found quite a few dishes to suit me. Tables a little too close together for my liking & it does get a bit too loud in there so you find yourself shouting - not very romantic lol

We had a great evening at Tapeo - delicious tapas, particularly the chorizo, octopus and omelette. The grilled bread and oil was great too. Service was efficient and friendly. We highly recommend Tapeo.

Great new restaurant serving lovely tapas. This is my second visit and the food was lovely maybe a little heavy with the garlic mayo but the meatballs are to do die for. Fab choice of vino and the cocktails are lovely too.

Very nice place, good food and staff is very attentive. There were two of us pregnant in the group and the waitress warned us about there being raw egg in the aioli sauce, which was very thoughtful as we never enquired. Will definitely return, had a fantastic time!

Lovely atmosphere and food was stunning. Good value for money considering the quality of the produce. Far better than any other tapas I have been to previously.

It was very busy and so some of the dishes had run out, waitress in a rush and dishes came out as and when. Better to go in the week.
