We would have preferred more choice rather than a set menu. When I booked the table I was under the impression it was the one overlooking the Milleneum Bridge, where the food is simpler...didn't know it wasn't open in the evenings. We were in a hurry and the staff responded brilliantly, but we would have liked to have lingered a bit more over the delicious food...( our fault)... Didn't like the decor and a pity windows are not low enough to see wonderful views outside without standing up. Would like to return for a more leisurely meal. Celia Toynbee

Good food but a bit pricey. Service was a bit intrusive as it was quiet - too many different people interrupting our conversation to ask if everything was all right.

Food is really good and service too (though they seem to bit a little stretched when they are busy). The only minus is that the environment is so-so, it can get very noisy as well when busy due to the high concrete ceilings.

There was a forced emergency evacuation. I have been trying to call the restaurant to pay my bill. They have a recorded message. Only seems fair to pay before I return to the U.S. Staff was wonderful .

My second visit - and, to be honest, the food was FAR superior 2 months ago than today. Neither the cod nor lamb dishes were value for money - although the starters were excellent.

We booked a tabl for 9:30pm. Since of the moment we arrived the staff were rushing us to ask the food because of the closing time at 11pm. It was not a really bad experience to eat in a hurry. If they have a closing time at 11pm i suggest dont book until that time. The food is good. The skyview is wonderfull.

Service in the 9th floor restaurant was rotten. It took over an hour for food to arrive despite our protestations, no explanation given, but many apologies! Not good enough.

We ordered 4 starters - 3 came out hot so had to be eaten. The 4th starter was a cold starter and came out some time after the other 3. I also had to ask for black pepper 3 times. So not overly impressed by the service. The food was delicious and looked beautiful too. Restaurant atmosphere felt a little bit 'canteeny' given the quality of the food. Spectacular views.

Much better than the last time when we had to walk down 9 floors. Service was good and cheerful and the food also good.

Food was excellent and the service also, if a little effervescent! Good venue for conversation as noise level decent for the purpose. Overall a very pleasing experience. Will definitely go again but perhaps on special occasions as it is a little expensive.

I found the tuna with harissa, and aubergine starter a bit tasteless but that may have been me. Also the cod with mussels and pesto main course came in too much liquid, but tasted good. The food was nicely presented. For dessert, we were not given coffee ice cream with white chocolate sauce but vanilla ice cream with mocha sauce - which was very nice!

Unlike many other restaurants there was no Gluten Free menu so one of the waiters went through the menu. He was a bit too rapid and unfortunately he was somewhat indistinct. We had a cold poached egg which was eventually replaced with a warm one! The service seemed slow at times. The wines we had were nice but were overpriced.

Be aware that the previous 6 floor and very good restaurant with a stunning view on St Paul’s Cathedral at the top of the ancient Tate is now closed for dinner. When you book a table at the « Tate restaurant » it means the new one at the top of the new extension. This one offers a pretentious cooking that mixed products that don’t match in order to look original in a 9 floor restaurant with so small and high windows that you don’t even have a view when you seat. Highly disappointing! To be fare, the wine was good but definitely not enough to come back !

The food, wine, service and views were really great. I would like to choose the number of courses I have though, and not have two or three courses as the only options.

Excellent venue. Superb food and wine. Brilliant service. Would highly recommend. Had the Pierre Bonnard menu of Fish bowl with smoked trout and the most delicious confit duck I have ever tasted. I’m definitely coming back for more.

I ordered the Bream Carpaccio and the Lamb. Whilst eating the lamb i became very ill and had to go to the bathroom where i was violently sick. Obviously something was wrong with the Bream.

I had a good experience last time but today 6 of us waited for one hour for our starters and did not finish until 4.00; we arrived at 1.30. Also the food was disappointing. I had similar dishes as last time but they were not to the same standard.

I arrived at 8.30pm and was seated promptly at my table. You could have either a two course menu for £29 or a three course menu for £35. I chose the two course menu. For my main course I had venison with red cabbage purée and two sides of seasonal vegetables and thick cut chips. I ordered a glass of white wine which came highly recommended by the waiter. The venison was really tender and just melted in my mouth as did the mange tout and chips. For pudding I ordered a white chocolate mousse with dark chocolate and passion fruit and I was immediately transported to heaven. I tried very hard not to groan with delight because the mousse was completely orgasmic. I will definitely be going to this place again.

This restaurant knows the fine art of hospitality. The food was excellent. And the menu offers a lovely tea pairing if you don't drink wine.

The atmosphere is good -- not noisy, but pleasantly busy. The views we had were excellent. The food (I ate lamb and my friend ate cod) was good, and reasonably priced. The dessert was a little odd (white chocolate mousse), but OK enough. Overall, a very nice pre-Christmas lunch.

Super service, fabulous food, terrific table. Thank you. Couldn't have asked for more. The View wasn't too bad either and because the space is beautifully laid out, it was an altogether great experience.

Delicious food beautifully cooked. I had the vegetarian option which was inventive and a wonderful medley of complimentary flavours. Two course Christmas Menu 33.95 - I know vegetables or salad is always extra but to make this perfect I think that they should include something green for the price. Attentive waiters and fabulous London skyline. Recommend

Only a 4 because the wrong starter was served, which we only discovered halfway eating. Nevertheless, the wrong starter was quite nice! Many Thanks for asking!
